Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all! I must
again apologize for my long disappearance, but I'm amazed I
find time at all amongst work and school.
Anyway, I come today to talk about the pending release of
Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Around Christmas, yes, we are
FINALLY getting the BEUD in the English Yugioh Trading Card
Game. What does this mean? A few different things.
One, Blue Eyes White Dragon decks will more than likely rise
in play if only for the release of BEUD. Secondly, this
means that the "useless" Blue Eyes Shining Dragon promo from
the Yugioh movie is also going to be playable. For those of
you who forgot, BESD can only be special summoned by
tributing a BEUD on your field. BESD gains 300 atk. for each
Dragon plus you choose which monster, spell, and trap
effects can effect it.
Next, lets talk about the ways to summon BEUD. Metamorphosis
isn't really the best option, since BEUD is a Level 12
fusion, and that's a bit high. Fusion Gate is probably the
best option, but there would be a great combo for this.
Fusion Gate activates removing your 3 BEWD and you summon
BEUD. You then activate Dimension Fusion and pay 2000
lifepoints to special summon your 3 removed BEWD for a
possible 13,500 damage.
This is definately going to be a collectors item. I don't
even run a deck of this sort, and I plan on getting one.
They make great stocking stuffers :)
