I just thought I'd let you guys in on the following.

Expert Edition 1 is set for release on 9/23/04. It will be a reprint set of the Japanese 301, 302, 303, 304, and 305 sets. Similar to BE1.

A new game for PlayStation2 (entitled "Capsule Monster Colloseum") will be released on the 29th of July. It will cost ¥7240 (~US$66.50), and it will include 3 Ultra Rare promo Monster cards. They are: (not completely
confirmed)
 

Abyss Soldier
Water/Aqua - Level 4 - 1800/1300
Effect: Discard one Water main-type (may be Aqua sub-type, but pretty sure it's Water main) Monster from your Hand to activate. Return any one card on the Field to its owner's Hand. This Effect can be used only once per turn, during your Main Phase.

(Combo with K-Snake (S-Serpent), anyone?)

Inferno Hammer
Dark/Demon - Level 6 - 2400/0
Effect: When this Monster destroys an opponent's Monster in battle, you may turn one of your opponent's face-up Monsters to face-down DEF position.

Dewar
Light/Angel (??) - Level 5 - 2000/1500
Effect: When this Monster is successfully Tribute Summoned, your opponent skips their next turn's Battle Phase.

Now for some rulings.. Can Level Up! be used with  Horus Flame
Dragon LV6  to Special Summon Horus Flame Dragon LV8 ? The
answer is yes, it can be. Sending LV6 to the Graveyard is a cost, and
therefore you can send away LV6 with Level Up! to bring out LV8. And yes,
LV8's Effect is a multi-trigger Effect, so it can be used in a chain to a
Magic card activation.
