Dungeon Dice Masters Talk
Should Dungeon Dice Monsters get a New Owner?
by TheDungeonMaster
06.17.05

http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=158940

That, my friends, is possibly the best link in the Pojo.com message boards. What’s it about? It’s a thread started by Otaku and he shares his thoughts about the current state of things. What I want to talk about is what Otaku said after what I said:

TheDungeonMaster: “Hey everybody, TheDungeonMaster here, and I want to thank Otaku for starting this thread. It’s good to know that what Otaku and me are doing is making you guys happy. Maybe we all can get Mattel for finish off the series and bring it back”

Otaku: “Or perhaps better yet, someone else who wants to crank out a miniatures game. I'd love Nintendo to be it... but that doesn't seem too likely. In all seriousness, even if it meant having to restart my collection with a new producer, if we could get this game done right (in terms of supporting the thing), it would be worth it.”

As you see, Otaku thinks Nintendo should take hold on the game. Now as for myself, I’m a BIG Nintendo fan, been one since I was able to play video games. I think Nintendo is a great choice, but there is another company, but I’ll get to that later. In the mean time, here are some pros of Dungeon Dice Monsters at Nintendo:

PROS:
-Nintendo OWNS Dungeon Dice Monsters.
-By owing them, they well have rights to Dungeon Dice Monsters.
-They can make games ONLY for the GameCube, GBA, DS, and the upcoming Revolution.
-Nintendo owns all gaming. Ever. End of story.

CONS:
-New to making pieces, but they do the greatest stuff ever.

Now onto the other company that would be good at making he pieces. Give up? I think WizKids should do it. Who’s WizKids? The fine people who make Hero Clixs. They got more experience making the pieces; the only different thing is that they need to make cards too. And instead of only putting 1 piece per pack, they can package them up like they do with Hero Clixs. In case you don’t know, they put 4 pieces per pack. Now here are some pros and cons for that:

PROS:
-Experience. Point blank. They know how to make actual pieces.
-Better packaging skills, which mean more bang for your buck.
-Possibly more characters in a starter box?

CONS:
-They own the rights. So making more video games well be harder to make.
-They got to make cards too, which is a little different on what there used to do.

Well, those are my thoughts. Email me what you think.
