Hello Pojo Fans,

Vision HERO Witch Raider gives HEROS some serious destruction power.

Level 8, DARK, Warrior lends it a ton of support alongside the HERO support it already has. Tribute Summon Vision HERO with Traps as well as monsters makes it much easier to Normal Summon than most monsters. A Harpies Feather Duster on the Normal Summon is worth not being able to Special Summon for the turn. Search out this monster with E-Call, CoTD Shadow Mist, get a search, then pop Shadow Mist and Call for Vision HERO and wipe the opponents spell/traps off the field. At 2700ATK, Vision HERO has pretty good stats to hold its own when you can't Special Summon for the turn.

With more than one way to Normal Summon it, Vision HERO Witch Raider could find itself in HERO decks moving forward as a strong tech.

Today, we look at a new member of the HERO family, as well as a extension to the Vision HERO family, in Vision HERO Witch Raider.

Vision HERO Witch Raider is a Level 8 monster, so it requires a Tribute Summon. To Tribute Summon this card, you can tribute Traps as well as monsters. This effect is very similar to the True Draco monsters. If this card is Tribute Summoned, you can basically Harpie's Feather Duster. Clearing out backrow is an amazing thing for a card to have, considering Giant Trunade, Heavy Storm, and the aforementioned Harpie's Feather Duster are all banned in the TCG. With this great effect comes the downside that you cannot Special Summon monsters except for HERO monsters the turn you use it's effect.

Overall, this is a pretty cool tech choice. HERO decks likely won't play it, but I can see this being a Side Deck tech for the True Draco deck. Witch Raider is really cool, just not in its own archetype.

Vision HERO Witch Raider

Today we're taking a look at the continuing gradual release of the Vision HERO series of monsters that sadly seem to be relegated to sparsely released support in special edition booster sets. Witch Raider just happens to be the latest, clocking in at 2700 attack and 1900 defence on a level 8 Dark Warrior body.

Now, Witch Raider is actually good support for decks in general, being a quasi-copycat of the True Draco archetype. Her first effect lets you tribute summon her by tributing trap cards you control aswell as monsters. What this means, is you can normal summon her turn 1 without using any special summons just by setting 2 traps to the field.

Her second effect is that when she IS normal summoned, she destroys all your opponents spell and traps. Note the normal summon, not tribute summon, so if you can drop her level to 4 or under and just play her for free, you'll benefit even more. The downside to her effect though is that you can't special summon anything the turn you use her effect and that's mutually inclusive. You can't special summon first THEN summon her.

I REALLY like Witch Raider outside of the Vision HERO deck. She can be splashed into trap heavy decks. Or any deck that can keep a monster on the field until your turn. She definitely helps push advantage further forward and the archetype is gradually getting stronger as they slowly release more cards for them.
