Hello Pojo Fans,

Bountiful Artemis is an old card that has some new life with the release of Guiding Ariadne.

Drawing a card each time a Counter Trap resolves is a pretty good effect. If your monster gets nuked by Solemn Warming or Solemn Scolding you will even out, and if you do that to your opponent you will +1. Alongside Guiding Ariadne in your Pendulum Zone, you won't be paying for Counter Trap cards, giving you even more advantage, as well as a more versitile assortment of Counter Trap cards to use. Divine Wrath becomes a better card when you don't have to pay the cost, and your Counter Trap cards that cost LP will always be live. Solid ATK for a level 4 LIGHT, and Fairy support helps lend more power to this card.

A decent card in general, a better card in its archetype.

Back on October 4th of 2006, the first and only time this card has been reviewed,  Bountiful Artemis was an element of the Counter Fairy's deck. Nothing has really changed. It is still a Level 4 Light Fairy-type monster with 1600 Atk and 1700 Def. The Atk and Def are passable for a Level 4. The stats are lackluster because the support is lackluster. Counter Fairy's never (and still don't) had a ROTA effect to search out the monsters. The traps themselves got a lot of help and consistency with Guiding Ariadne. The effect lets you draw 1 card every time a Counter Trap Card is activated while Bountiful Artemis is on the field. This effect tries to help the consistency, but it falls short except in ideal situations. Guiding Ariadne is splashable in decks that want to run about 4 Counter Traps. Bountiful Artemis only works in Counter Fairies, which is still not good enough to run on its own.

Score: 2.5/5
Art: 2/5 The only thing consistent with Counter Fairies is the artwork on their Mecha Angels.
