Baneful

Wow... finally a good dinosaur since Fossil Dyna.  As part of the overall shift of the game, this card is both a boon to Pendulum decks and threat to non-Pendulum decks.  The fact that it both serves as a Pendulum scale and it can revive itself constantly (meaning you can slay an army of non-Pendulum monsters) makes it a strong card.  The main problem in this meta right now is that it's dominated by Pendulum decks.  It will do nothing against Performages, Performapals, or Majespecters (your biggest threats out right now) since its effect can't destroy them.  It might leave a dent in tier 2 decks like Kozmos, Burning Abyss and E-Heroes.  It'll also help against a myriad of rogue decks, making it a worthy side deck option.  When all's said and done, it's a good card that may get better in the future.

Samurai Cavalry of Reptier, some slang plural of Reptile, I assume, who according to yugioh wiki appears to be part of the Draconia family.  Anyway, Level 4 Monster, who is also a 3 on the Pendulum scale, and Earth attributed with 1800 attack and 1200 defense.  You see this card only has a Monster effect, and it allows you to destroy a face-up Monster (who isn't a Pendulum) at the start of the Damage Step, you can destroy that Monster.  I suppose it's neat for whatever reason (I assume you'd be attacking something stronger to utilize this effect) but if not, you aren't FORCED to use that effect, to deal Damage in destroying something weaker.  It's a useful enough effect, there's a plethora of cards these days with effects as this or very similar.  It might be a techy card

Lullaby

Hello Pojo Fans,

Samurai Cavalry of Reptier isn't much of a Pendulum Monster. It has no effect while in the Pendulum Zone, so it only benefits as a monster, though you can still use Pendulum-specific support to search it out. Good ATK, but not much support in terms of Attribute and Type (Dinosaurs aren't popular anymore). Killing an opponents monster at the start of the Damage Step when attacking is halfway to being like Catastor. However, this card is left vulnerable when not attacking, and with the lack of support behind it, Reptier won't last long out there. Destroying with an effect is sometimes better than battle, it can get around some searchers. There's more searchers nowadays though that get a search regardless of method of destruction, which doesn't help this card.

Warlockblitz

Live from an undisclosed resort it's WarlockBlitz's Honeymoon! Samurai Cavalry of Reptier is a Level 4 Earth Dinosaur-type Pendulum Monster with 1800 Atk and 1200 Def and Scales of 3. We have the all important Level 4 that everyone knows and loves. Reptile might have been better than Dinosaur, but that isn't a problem. Earth is good to avoid cards like Shadow or Light Imprisoning Mirror and Poisonous Winds. Of course being a Pendulum monster is good with its low scales of 3 and because it will live face-up in the Extra Deck until you are ready for it.

There is no Pendulum Effect, but Samurai Cavalry of Reptier's monster effect is beautiful in its simplicity. If it attacks a face-up anything, you can destroy it at the start of the Damage Step if it is not a Pendulum monster. It would be better if it was 'battles' instead of 'attacks' because then your opponent could run into it and be destroyed as well. As it is, this card avoids many effects in the damage step that would otherwise negate it because only effects that are normally allowed in the damage step can activate against it. This is an excellent card in the Side Deck against any non-Pendulum deck, but I assume it will find a comfortable home in any Pendulum deck that also runs Performages, Dracoslayers, or Majespecters.
