Masked HERO Dian, another of the Mask Change, cannot be Special Summoned Heroes.  This is a Level 8, Earth attributed, Warrior, with an attack of 2800 and an equally awesome defense of 3000.  This guys effect isn't as powerful as yesterdays, but I think the extra attack and defense make up for it.  When Dian destroys an opponent's Monster by Battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon ANY Level 4 or lower Hero Monster from your Deck.  Adding to your resources is always a good thing, and speed is good, especially in a Hero Deck.  I like him.

Elemental Hero decks are looking more and more like Elementals as time goes on. And now with the new tins, we have more targets for our Masked Charge cards. Today’s card, Masked HERO Dian, gives us a pretty strong fusion monster with 2800 attack and an amazing 3000 defense. We top that off with the ability to special summon a level 4 or lower Elemental monster from the deck for a plus 1 and field advantage. If we summon Voltic, Ice Edge, or Status we plus 2.

The best thing about Masked Charge is that it removes a monster that is targeted by your opponent and gives you a more powerful monster. It also gives you a second monster to attack with. In a deck built to summon Evil HERO Dark Gaia, which could mean a quick victory. Other good targets for Masked Charge in making Dian are Elemental Hero Gaia, and Elemental HERO Wildheart.

If you are going to run Elemental HERO’s, you should be running Masked Charge. There are currently three elements that we can summon; Fire, Water, and now Earth. All three elements need to be in your extra deck.

Today's card is Masked HERO Dian. Dian has amazing stats with 2800 ATK and 3000 DEF, it's gonna be very hard to over power it. Dian's effect is just as good, as it lets you special summon a level 4 or lower HERO monster from your deck. You can get almost any HERO monster you want/need. You can get Stratos, Voltic, Neos Alius, whatever you like. But as powerful as this card is, it is easy to get rid of, such as Smashing Ground, Bottomless, and anything with Solemn in its name that's a counter trap. Overall a good card for the Masked HEROs and HEROs overall.

Again, a Masked HERO card, and like yesterday, very difficult to get out, if only slightly less so because EARTH HEROes are more plentiful than WATER ones. The effect is very useful if you can get him out, and his stats are rather impressive, but with the requirement of a non-searchable Spell, the chances if getting MHD on the field are low and require a fair amount of luck.

Our second GX card of the week...mm-mm, not bad.

2800 ATK is not a joke to be beating around the bush with. Granted, you're using this guy to eliminate enemy monsters to use her effect, and I personally would want to get her effect off of a direct attack due to Mask Change's quickplay nature.

As aforementioned, 2800 ATK plows through a lot of things. There are also a lot of Earth HEROes, although most of them are Fusions. The ability to gain mass, free advantage is a great opportunity, though.

You know the failure of a card A Hero Lives? It's a Spell that requires you to have no faceup monsters and waste half your LP to play any Level 4 or less E-HERO from the Deck. Yeah, well this guy takes ANY HERO each time she slaughters an opponent's monster. This is the Damage Step, so good luck trying to BTH or Torrential Tribute. Use this monster for anything. Attack with, say, Wildheart (he's the most splashable Earth HERO), Mask Change to Dian, kill something, summon ANY HERO for a third attack. You can use the third HERO for Tributes, Super Polymerization, a special ability to suit your needs...anything.

Super-high stats, extremely easy to summon, great swarm power.
Oh yeah. She's real.

Traditional: 2/5 (again, not bad, but how often will you really make use of this guy in the land of Ring of Destruction and Raigeki?)
Advanced: 4.5/5
Aesthetics: 3.5/5 This is definitely one of the more cool-looking HERO cards I've seen. But I would like to strongly criticize the English dub team for not naming her "Diane." I also don't like her head that much and seriously, who fights in HIGH HEELS?

Philosophy Corner: Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die.
