Today, we get to the third monster that I believe to be a must in a Dark World Deck. Any really good deck will have cards that search the deck for key cards, and Snoww, Unlight of Dark World can search for just about any card in your Dark World deck. Tell me that is not broken! Depending on the situation and what cards you have in your hand, you can search out any Dark World monster, The Gates of Dark World, Gateway to Dark World, Dark World Lightning, or Dark World Dealings. Since Dark World’s depends on combos and discards, this card is a must.
 
Another nice aspect of Snoww is that it has 1700 attack. Add in the 300 atk boost that The Gates of Dark World gives it and you have your Deck Devastation Virus tribute. Snoww also has a secondary effect that allows you to summon one of your opponent’s monsters from the graveyard when discarded with the effect of Dark Deal or Ceruli, Guru of Dark World.
 
It is hard for me to rate Dark World cards high as they are only good for decks using Dark Worlds. In Traditional, there is no room for all of those broken cards that can be run, so decks that are using them just run Dark Worlds into the ground. In advanced, Dark Worlds don’t have the consistency or staying power as the top tier decks. I am going to add an additional category for dedicated decks to reflect an individual card’s worth.

Thursday brings us to Ceruli's tag partner in our look at the Dark World structure deck, Snoww, Unlight of Dark World. Snoww is a LVL 4 Dark/Fiend type with 1700 ATK and a big goose-egg for DEF. Snoww's effect says If this card was discarded to the the grave by an opponent's card effect, target one monster in your opponent's grave, add one card with Dark World in it's name from your deck to your hand, and special summon that targeted monster in face up defense position. That's a lot from one simple discard. Ceruli and Snoww work in tandem to get this effect out. It's a neat little double team move that could generate some kind of advantage, or using that summoned monster for something like a tribute summon for Caius or another monster, in the Synchro/Xyz type. Again, a cool thing to do if you can get it out, but it takes some setting up, if that's your thing, then the Ceruli/Snoww combo is for you.

Snoww is, simply put, the Stratos of the Dark World deck. Her effect allows you to add a Dark World monster from your Deck to your hand when she is discarded by a card effect. In addition, if she was discarded by your opponent's effect, you also get to summon one of their monsters from their Graveyard.
 
Although, you are unlikely to get her secondary effect, she is more than worth running in a Dark World deck just for the sheer searching power she offers.

And here we have our best searcher in the deck, which will get us any Dark World card to our hand, even it's self which is nice. For the really fun part for this card is, if this card is discarded by your opponents card effect you get to reborn a monster from your opponents graveyard, the only down side to this card is the fact that the monster is summoned to your side of the field in defense.

4/5 for only the reason that the monster is summoned in defence.

Hello my yugi-friends! in review today is Snoww, Unlight of darkworld! we have a lvl 4 fiend dark monster with 1700 attack, that if discarded you can special summon 1 of your opponents monsters to their side of the field in defense and add 1 Darkworld card from your deck to your hand. it can be fairly decent based on what your playing and if you can creature swap it but over all i do not see this guy being to important in a darkworld deck unless you need the search power

Okay, to clarify, this guy's effects only work if the opponent's effect causes you to discard him. If you yourself activate a card effect to discard him, his effects do not go off.

If you can pull off his effects, then he's great. Search your deck for ANY DW card, then special summon a monster from your opponent's graveyard. If you can't pull it off, though, he's just a level 4 guy with alright attack power.
