Revival Rose ...

I like this. It's very simple. A Dark, Plant type monster. 1300 ATK and DEF. 4 stars. Nothing terribly awesome in there aside from how well it fits into a plant deck. Easily grabbed by a Sangan or quickened out by a Mystic Tomato. And if its in your graveyard, it makes losing a big plant type monster not as big a loss as it might have been otherwise. It doesn't matter HOW u lose the monster. Battle ... effect ... done by ur opponent or done by u ... it doesn't even matter if ur destroyed big plant goes to the GRAVEYARD or not. Special summon Revival Rose. Cool Cool. And its 4 stars make it terrific to tune with the next turn ... or just tribute it ... or ... whatever!

It's a cool card. If i played a Plant deck, i'd take this for a spin.

Today's card is one of the new support cards from The Shining Darkness, because someone thought Plants needed more support. This card has passable stats for its effect. If you lose a high-level plant, it comes out of the grave to replace it. However, this card has a fatal flaw in that it's an optional effect. This means it misses its timing in a lot of the scenarios you'll need it for.

It's just a complimentary and situational card butchered by its optional timing, which for some reason in this game thinks it needs the chain when it doesn't.

1.5/5
Art: It's staring at your soul...
Fun Fact: Fullmetal Alchemist is over!? At least Brotherhood is still being awesome.
Tomorrow: How has this not broken its deck yet?
