General Zorpa Everliving Underworld Cannon

This card is also in the pile of "Other Cards Do It Better". Everliving Underworld Cannon inflicts 800 damage whenever a Zombie monster is Special Summoned, but only once per turn. It's status as a continuous spell is actually good for the effect, but not for survivability.

I prefer Dark Room of Nightmare for my Burn needs, as it flows well with the other burn spells and traps that I will be playing, essentially making them more effective. Zombies didn't really need a burn spell anyways, as they can just tech a copy of Ceasefire for massive damage, far more than this simple card can spit out.

It is not a bad card, just not very good at what we need it to do either for a Zombie deck or for a burn deck.

Everliving Underworld Cannon
Continuous Magic

Once, during each player's turn, when a Zombie-type monster is Special Summoned to your side of the field, inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

Everliving Underworld Cannon ...

Like yesterday's card, this one is a rather simple spell ... and I honestly like it!
Once per turn, whenever a Zombie type monster is special summoned to your side of the field - your opponent is hit for 800 points. Returning from the grave is what Zombies love best, so if your Zombie deck is built even halfway decent, u should be doing it a lot. And it doesn't even have to be from the Graveyard to work. From the deck, from the hand ... whatever!

Now if this card was every TIME a Zombie was special summoned - it would be overkill ... or "broken" as they like to say in the business! But it's not, so once per turn (even your opponent's) is ju st perfect for a Zombie Burn deck ... "Burn" being an under-utilized game mechanic these days, but still worthy of respect.

As a continuous spell it might not last long out there, but if u can get creative - i can see this thing becoming a cool little weapon with the right duelist.
