Dark Paladin

Wednesday

Destiny Hero Departed Guy could be interesting addition to your Dark Deck, and is certainly an overlooked card from Phantom's Darkness.

D-Hero Departed Guy is a Level 2 Warrior of the Dark attribute with 1000 atk and 0 def.

However, you probably don't need to attack (or defend) with D-Hero Departed Guy anyway.  So, if D-Hero Departed Guy is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the Field in face up Attack position.

I don't really see a point to that, aside from you can have a cat and mouse game to destroy back and forth to continuously Special Summon the same damn D-Hero.  Anyway, as for a better effect, when destroyed, you can remove D-Hero Departed Guy from play.

Furthermore, when this card is sent from your Hand or Deck by a card effect to the Graveyard, Departed Guy is removed from the game.  That's a better effect still, as it can give you something to swarm or return for a tribute later.

Ratings:

2.5/5  all around

Diamond Dude Turbo sort of is hit or miss with this guy, a few other odd Decks might be able to use, while some, or most, won't touch him.

General Zorpa Destiny Hero Departed

Meh. I like every other Destiny Hero better. Even Dunker. He can do a few tricks, but they are so limited and specialized that they need a special deck to be built around and it doesn't work that well. Maybe if he had a fusion or something, but he doesn't.

sorry for the short review, but I just don't like this guy...

Destiny Hero - Departed

This card is alot like Treeborn Frog, yet very different. Your opponent gets the monster, and when it's destroyed via battle or sent to the Graveyard by Destiny Draw, Card Trooper, or etc it gets removed from the game. The only real combo with this is Remove Brainwashing, but that combo will probably never amount to anything more than a neat casual deck.

Pwii

destiny hero departedguy is different. I can only guess what reason he was made for. apparantly, you're supposed to attack him instead of your opponent's f/ds. but he has 1000 attack, so it's not that good. sadly, it will never see play because

A) only aggro decks will run this.

B) it's too slow for an aggro deck

1/5 all.
