When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, you can select and activate 1of the following effects:
- Select 1 card that includes 'Dark Scorpion' in its card name, or is named 'Cliff the Trap Remover', from your Deck and add it to your hand.
- Select 1 card that includes 'Dark Scorpion' in its card name, or is named 'Cliff the Trap Remover', from your Graveyard and add it to your hand.

To start off the Black Scorpion week is Manae the Thorn. I opened this card with the two other scorpions in a pack and thought is was good right off the bat. You've got a not so good ATK but the effect makes up for it. SORTA. You get hand advantage which is important. You could take a ton of Scorpions from this effect. You can then summon them by Mustering of the Scorpions. It's a nice way of getting your scorps out. It's not a horrible card but it's a must in all Scorpion decks.

Non-scorp deck: 1.1/5
Scorp deck: 3.7/5

Short Print

I've played a DSB deck and Meanae helps a lot. She adds speed to the deck. You need to play her right however, the idea is for her to cause damage, in the current meta, duelists usually attack with 1400 monsters, a good example of this would be running a D.D. Crazy Beast into a Don Zaloog that was face down. Meanae carries a tough 1800 defense, so setting her would be a smart idea. Once your opponent runs their crazy beast into it, they might try to remove it with dark core (like that would actually happen, im just kidding, but it sets up for my next tip), be sure to play multiples of her. Meanae is the key to Mustering and to Combination.

Tourney - 2.6/5

Draft - 1.0/5

Artwork - 3.0/5 - looks very dominant

Closing Line - i slap you! now im going to get my buddy don zaloog and his friends to come pound on you!
