Kitty Bites Back - Zachary T.

Yes, sadly thxs to Spetember 1st ban list.. Rescue Cat and Summoner Monk were limited to 1 ea and Dark Strike FIghter being ban.. killed Kitty Synchro Deck.

However, that doesn't mean that kitty is out of lines just yet. Now kitty is used in glad deck, however be true power of glads actually comes from its back field which than allows their glads on the field to tag out and gain the advantage. But I for one hate to follow someone else's ideas and listings of decks that made Nationals and try to come up with my own ideas.

Now a lot of people will be like what in the world. Why not just make GB, and the reason why is that this deck gives more options. The true weakness of Glads are Royal Decree. And most people are wondering y but thats because GB rely on their traps to protect thier GB and keep them on the field to tag out. This build still has the strong part of a GB allowing u to pop out Gyzurs and Heraklinos as well as allowing one to rely on traps as well as special summoning monsters with eaze. Which will be explained further within the paragraphs.

This deck was built as a mix of having glads to destory the field cards such as Gyzarus, Beastari, and Murmillo. Allowing easier control of the field as well as the fact that the deck also runs like half beast monsters for the ability to pop out green Baboon as a huge beat stick. Yes the idea of paying 1000lp sounds disturbing but truly is worth it if u can prevent atks or claim the upper hand in the duel.

Seeing to it that glads has GB Samnite which is a lvl 3 beast makes it great for the idea to put it in with Rescue Cat however, to bring out Samnites true potential within this deck. I popped ina  few other important GBs that are needed to gain the upper hand in bring out Gyzarus Heraklinos. As well as the ability to suicide Samnite for Green Baboon from your hand or Grave (which is the main reason for Foolish Burial).

How do you pull out Heraklinos?

 1) Having Laquri and 2 other GBs on the field (but this is harder since you need some luk in protecting ur monsters from higher atkers0

 2) Having 2 GBs on the field and 1 in grave, than taging out for a darius to special summon GB from grave and Laquari (if not on field alrdy) which gives u 3 GBs

 3) Having Laquari and than using Rescue Cat to pop out 2 Samnites or have Laquari and than RC pops out 2 Samnites than enter battle phase and tag out a Samnite for a Darius to pop out a GB from grave (only if u got a Glad in grave)

 4) Have 1 GB or Laqurai and Secutor than enter battle phase, tag out Secutor for watever GB u need

How do you pull out Gyzarus?

 1) Get Beastari and 1 more GB on field

 2) Have a GB or Beastari on field than use Proving ground to get either GB or Beastari (depanding which one u need)

 3) Rescue Cat effect to get 2 Samnites than atk and tag out for Beastari

 4) Have Secutor and atk than tag out for Beastari and another GB

Beasts are added to over come the weakness of GB decks. This is what allows this deck to not over load on protective traps and rather become more offensive. Sea Koala is a must in any beast deck since chances are u will likely have a beast monster on the field and if u don't it will most likely be a GB which can tag out for a Samnite. As well as that any beast type mosnter that is destoried in anyway can bring out Green Baboon.

Note: Yes Green Baboon can't be special summoned during the Damage Phase but in the ruling a monster is destoried after Damage Phase allowing you to special summon Green Babbon during you/opponent battle phase with the ability to still atk if its ur battle phase

"At the end of the Damage Step, the Monster Card(s) destroyed as a result of battle are sent to thethe Graveyard, unless a card effect specifies that they go elsewhere, such as when "Macro Cosmos" is active"

Plus beasts are wat give this deck the power to synchro fast and take control of the game fast.

This deck also still has the same easy ability to synchro fast as well as synchroing the great XX-Saber Gottoms with easily. Some of the Combos are Plagure + Green Baboon and Airbuellem + 2 other lvl 3 Earths (Airbullem, Samnite, Test Tiger) and for lvl 8s Plague + 2 (lvl 3 monsters) or Airbullem + lvl 3 + lvl 2 and so on.

The main weakness of this deck is Oppression which is the reason i sided 2 Dust Tornados, 1 Prohibition, 1 MST, and 1 Heavy Storm. Other than that this deck is rdy to search and destory >;3 Meow!

For more information on how my deck works feel happy to email me or aim me when I'm on. Cause there are a lot more things that you can do within this deck that i just couldn't put in stragety since its alrdy so long.

P.S. feel free to email me or aim me if u have any questions ^^ and i'll reply as soon as i'm not busy
