My Dark Revenge on the World - Garrett

Hello Pojo and Pojo fans! My name is Garrett. Now, this is first time writing to Pojo but, I've been playing Yugioh for a number of years. The deck that I've constructed here is kind of a D.D. Dark Beatdown/Dark Gaia. the reason I call this my dark revenge on the world is because I just now decided to take a look at the new (well new to me) banned/restricted list. It's pure EVIL!! I lost one my Cyber Dragons, Ring of Destruction, Confiscation, and Graceful Charity. WWHHHHYYYY?!!! That pretty much slowed my down my deck completely. So after a lot of deck fixing, here's what I got.

Deck List:44
Monsters:23
Tribute Monsters:8 (I know I have too many)

The Wicked Dreadroot
Dark Horus
Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
Evil Hero Malicious Edge
Jinzo
Cyber Dragon
Big Piece Golem
Gandora the Dragon of Destruction

Non-Tribute Monsters

Archfiend Soldier
Koa'ki Meiru Guardian
Dark Valkyria
Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
(2)D.D Survivor
D.D. Assailant
Bazoo the Soul Eater
Evil Hero Infernal Gainer
Medium Piece Golem
Necroface
Morphing Jar
Marshmallon
Spirit Reaper
Night Assailant

Spells:12

Mystical Space Typhoon
The Beginning of the End
Allure of Darkness
Heavy Storm
Scapegoat
Soul Exchange
Swords of Revealing Light
Dark Calling
Creature Swap
D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation
Dimensional Fissure
Nobleman of Crossout

Traps:9

Torrential Tribute
(2)Bottemless Trap Hole
By Order of the Emperor
(2)Macro Cosmos
Magic Cylinder
Mirror Force (I don't have one so I replaced it with
Sakuretsu Armor)
Return From the Different Dimension

Extra Deck:1

Evil Hero Dark Gaia

Okay, lets start with the monsters I know 8 tribute monsters are a lot but, Dreadroot, Gorz, Malicious, and Golem are mainly fusion materials for Gaia. Horus, Jinzo, Cyber Dragon, and Gandora are here to bring on the pain.

Archfiend, KMG, Valkyria, Kycoo, and Survivor are good beatsticks that fit well with this deck

D.D. Assailant and Night Assailant are there for monster destruction, Bazoo and Necroface for removing cards from play, and Mashmallon/Spirit Reaper for stall. Medium Golem is another fusion material for Gaia.

Morphing Jar is for drawing and Gainer is for getting your fiends to attack twice.

The spells are pretty much standard. Allure and THBotE are great draw engines. The traps are also standard for this kind of deck. I added in BOotE to stop any Monarchs

Tips: Here are some tips on how to work this deck. At the start of the duel, you want to try to get your beatstick monsters out and destroy your opponents lower level monsters so there stuck with high level monsters (like Dark Armed Dragon). In mid- game pull out Gandora and remove from play all other cards on the field and get a possible 3000 points of direct damage to your opponent. Then put your opponent out of his/her misery with Evil Hero Dark Gaia. There are several combos you can use with this deck, but I not going to tell you :) When I built this deck I thought it would just be a fun deck to play aginst my friends then I relized something. This deck could (could because its still in the experimental stage) stand up pretty good aginst the current meta. Bye bye tele-DAD with all the monster destruction in this deck. See ya later Lightsworn Monsters with Macro Cosmos and Dimesional Fissure. As for Gladiator Beast, I dub thee DOOMED with Bottemless Trap Hole. It only takes one break in the chain to stop to stop the whole cycle. If you happen to run one of these decks guess what.....you've met your match (possibly). By the way sorry about the long artical. Well, good bye fellow duelist, keep on rock'n'. I plan to write more articals in the future so if you have any questions possitive, comments, or hey even a deck fix contact me at gpkp_1@netzero.com.
