Three Good Counter Traps That Almost Nobody Plays - Wiiman

Hi, people

I Counter you're Solemn with my Solemn, Solemning you're Solemn.

That's not a joke about the metagame, that's a statement. Anyway, I'm here today about a certain card. We all know that Counter Traps make the world go round (e.g Solemn Judgement and Dark Bribe). But what if I could tell you a certain Counter Trap that counters, Counter Trap cards. You guys all know what I'm talking about, Counter Counter.

Counter Counter,

Counter Trap Card

TAEV-EN080

Effect: Negate the activation of a Counter Trap card and destroy it.

Short, simple, and straight to the point. You'll will fell great when you kill your opponents $40 card with you're $.50 common. Here's a list of all the card Counter Counter can negate:

  • Anti-Spell
  • Armor Break
  • Barrel Behind the Door
  • Black Horn of Heaven
  • Counter Counter
  • Curse of Royal
  • Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell
  • Damage Polarizer
  • Dark Bribe
  • Destruction Jammer
  • Disarm
  • Divine Wrath
  • Feather Wind
  • Forced Back
  • Fusion Guard
  • Goblin Out of the Frying Pan
  • Horn of Heaven
  • Intercept
  • Judgment of Anubis
  • Magic Drain
  • Magic Jammer
  • Malfunction
  • Negate Attack
  • Pulling the Rug
  • Parry
  • Royal Surrender
  • Seven Tools of the Bandit
  • Snake Deity's Command
  • Solemn Judgment
  • Spell Shield Type-8
  • Spell-Stopping Statute
  • Trap Jammer
  • Trap of Board Eraser
  • Tutan Mask
  • Vanity's Call
  • Vanquishing Light

The cards that are underlined are the big guns. Now a lot of counter traps have costs... that they still have to pay when there negated. Haw stupid will your opponent look when he pays a 1000 -4000 lifepoints or let you draw a card. The look on there face is priceless enough. For those of you that don't know what Intercept does hers's its effect:

Intercept

Counter Trap Card

Activate only when a monster is successfully Tribute Summoned with exactly 1 Tribute. Control of that monster is switched.

This is a good card, a monarch stealer, but none the less its a good card. So if you're playing Monarchs, Prime Material Dragon, or Jinzo watch out or use Counter Counter.

Release the Curse!

Another good card that nobody plays is Curse of Royal which is also on that list.

Curse of Royal

Counter Trap Card

Negate the activation and effect of a Spell or Trap Card that includes the effect of destroying 1 Spell or Trap Card and destroy it.

With all the backrow destroying its another good card to play. With all you're Heavy Storms, Dust Tornado, Sinister Sprockets running amok its a good card.

Bandit Toolbox

Oh no!!! Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Magic Cylinder. Who cares? Not me. All I have to do is pay 1000 and I'm out of that jam. With Seven Tools of the Bandit all your opponent springs is gone. Seems worth it to negate Solemn for a 1000 and they pay 2000 and you still get to activate you're card. That's all I have to say.

If you have any questions/comments contact me at Wiikal@aol.com.

P.S If you tell me how many times I put Counter in this article I'll fix you're deck.

P.P.S Its not 23.
