Trading Card Game Tips from fans

May 2008

yu-gi-oh deck strategies...a killer dragon deck.

I dont hear much about dragon decks anymore...but dragons are my favorate. i dont know if everyone has lost interest or what...but you dont see anymore good dragon decks. by chance  i made a nearly invincible dragon deck. its got some banned cards, so it cant be used in a tournament...but i dont know alot of people who play for fun by the tournament rules. heres the deck list and ill tell you the ultimate strategy to this nearly invincible deck.

ill start off with allo the monster cards...

~horus the black flame dragon lvl 4

~horus the black flame dragon lvl 6

~horus the black flame dragon lvl 8

~horus' servant

~ 2 lord of D

~2 armed dragon lvl 3

~2 armed dragon lvl 5

~armed dragon lvl 7

~armed dragon lvl 10

~ red eyes black dragon

~red eyes darkness dragon

~ 2 mirage dragon

~ blue eyes white dragon

~felgrand dragon

~barrel dragon

~tyrant dragon

~decoy dragon

~kuriboh

next with the magic cards...

~level up!

~3 monster reborn

~prohibition

~stamping destruction

~foolish burial

~ 2 graceful charity

~2 pot of greed

~raigeki

~tribute to the doomed

~2 level modulation

~2 the flute of the summoning dragon

~ a feather of the phoenix

~card destruction

~ the graveyard in the fourth dimension

and last the trap cards...

~cursed seal of the forbidden spell

~ 2 shadow spell

~phoenix wing blast

~raigeki break

~spellbinding circle

~torrential tribute

~2 call of the haunted

that is my deck...and if you cant tell by now my deck relies totally on 3 aspects. power, discarding cards, and special summoning...you take one away and the deck kinda falls apart, but i made sure that it was pretty hard to do that with all the different cards i put in.

here are most of the combos you can play with my deck.

~ i love putting down my call of the haunteds while my level 3 or 5 armed dragon is in the graveyard. since they lvl up on your standby phases you can activate it on their end phase and bring it back from the graveyard...then its your turn and your standby phase. bring out your "lvl" monster on their end phase( or atleast after their battle phase) and level it up on your standby phase...and its harder to take out those higher lvl monsters, especially with a lord of d on the field.

~since most of my monsters are high lvls i like to use the combo of my lord of d and the flute of summoning dragon. since most of them can be special summoned (excluding the ones with summoning requirements(also excluding tyrant dragon because when its special summoned from the hand you dont have to offer a tribute) or felgrand because it can only be special summoned from the graveyard and only if it was sent there from the field) you can bring out 2 powerful monsters...like blue eyes and tyrant dragon...sometimes even on the first turn. and if you get lucky enough you can use both the flutes to summon more than 2 powerful or even low lvls to cover your field.

~ ive got alot of cards that discards cards. you can use these to your advantage. with both the lvl modulations( wich lets you summon any monster with lvl in the name ignoring the summoning conditions ) all three monster reborns, decoy dragon, and call of the haunted its a brilliant plan i like to deduce on people all the time. you can special summon as much as you want...and theres ALOT of powerful monsters or monsters with killer effects that you can summon  alot of. its perfectly planned. and even if they try to stop you with those stupid special hurricanes or royal opression theres raigeki break, phoenix wing blast, prohibition, and cursed seal of the forbidded spell...and phoenix wing blast to bring back whatever spell card you had to send to the graveyard.

~im thinking of puttiing a couple of trap cards( cant quite remember the name) that turns all the monsters on your side of the field until end phase...that way if they try to target lord of d for any effect, spell, or trap its treated as a dragon, thus its effect saves itself. also if horus is on the field you can negate any spells.

~ i like sending horus lvl 6 to the graveyard, special summon it, use lvl up or just use its effect to lvl up. and if they try to use level down?! on it just use its effect and negate the spell card and destroy it. when horus servant is on the field it also saves it from traps and monster effects and spells so thats always good.

thats my deck and SOME of the strategies you can use with it. give me feedback on what will make it better and tell me! if you see any holes just let me know. i like to unleash my deck on people cause they think that for some reason cause im a girl i cant duel like everyone else and that my deck isnt very good. -_- i love to prove them wrong lol. i need my deck to be the best it can be.
