ATLANTIS AND DECK DESTRUCTION DECKS-Crzydrvr

Back with another article. The current Leaders for the Card Awards are as follows:

-Best Overall MVP: 4-way tie

-Best Picture: 3-way tie

-Best Effect: 5-way tie

-Gamers' Choice Card(most underrated): 4-way tie -Best Deck Basis: 5-way tie -Otakus' Choice Card(best Anime card): 5-way tie -Best Fusion/Ritual: Cyber End Dragon -Best Clutch: Scapegoat -Fan Favorite: 3-way tie -Best Spell/Trap: 3-way tie

Man, that's one close vote. Thanks to djgamer, and John for their nominees! Don't forget, the deadline will be June 30. First of all, our trash of the weekend. And it will be........ Elemental Hero Bubbleman!

ELEMENTAL HERO BUBBLEMAN;LEVEL 4/SUPER/

ATK:800 DEF:1200 WATER/WARRIOR/EFFECT/

EFFECT: If this is the only card in your hand, you can special summon it. When this card is summoned, you can draw 2 cards from your deck if there are no other cards on your side of the field and in your hand. 1

star/5

Why is this card even around?! It sucks, and the only time it's even remotely good is late game with no monsters, so for the majority of the time it's a dead draw. Rare Hunters, beware, it's possibly the worst Super Rare ever conceived.

I thought up a fun Atlantis deck (NOTE: All decks I have thought and will ever think up is fun. I will mostly likely never get a chance to test them out, so I rely on my loyal readers to try it and give me feedback so I can improve it.):

Atlantis' Heart x40

Monsters x19

x3 Warrior of Atlantis

x2 The Legendary Fisherman

x2 Tribe-Infecting Virus

x2 Mobius the Frost Monarch

x1 Leviadragon-Daedulus

x1 Amphibious Bugroth MK3

x1 Mermaid Knight

x1 Creeping Doom Manta

x2 Mother Grizzly

x1 Mask of Darkness

x3 Hydrogeddon

Spells x13

x3 A Legendary Ocean

x1 Monster Reborn

x1 Salvage

x1 Premature Burial

x1 Guard Penalty

x1 Heavy Storm

x1 Mystical Space Typhoon

x1 Smashing Ground

x2 Axe of Despair

x1 Fairy of the Spring

Traps x8

x1 Dust Tornado

x2 Tornado Wall

x1 Magic Cylinder

x1 Mirror Force

x1 Torrential Tribute

x2 Xing-Zhen-Hu

This deck is really focused on Water monsters. There are a bunch of tributes that would hurt early game, but A LEGENDARY OCEAN should cover that. To get it out quicker, I added 3 WARRIOR OF ATLANTISs to search them out. They're also 1900 ATK beatsticks, so taking them out should be a little problem for opponents. To counter against the weak ATKs in this deck, and to beef up powerhouses like Mobius and Levia, I added 2 AXE OF DESPAIRs and 1 FAIRY OF THE SPRING. The traps and the rest of the spells should be cards found in any Atlantis deck.

I also have another inportant tip for everyone, not just beginners.

It's that putting 40 staples together will NOT make a good deck. On paper, it may look sound, but it most likely will not synchronize. It won't have any flow, because it's not custom fitted to work well together. That's why there are cards that only work with 1 or 2 types of decks. That way, there can be flow and your deck will work. It's simple, and most of the top duelists already know that. Heck, even an E-Hero deck made to create combos with its cards will beat a random assortment of staples.

I had another brilliant idea. Seems to me that a lot of those have come my way so far, let's hope it stays that way. In my Yugioh GX game for the DS, I run a Beatdown/Deck Destruction Deck (until I, or more specifically, my brother, lost it. I really only used it cuz some snobbish Obelisk Blue ran a turn destruction deck. Just like Blues to stay snobbish after having their butts 25 times by a Slifer Red). It's tough dueling against those decks cause nobody really runs those types of decks anymore, and that's its advantage. Nobody's prepared to duel a deck like that because nobody runs them. Nobody nowadays has any protection against them, so for those who wanna shove it back in their friend's so called unbeatable deck, try my (possibly risky) Deck Destruction deck!:

Deck Destroyer (catchy....not)

Monsters x19

x3 The Bistro Butcher

x3 Needle Worm

x3 Hiro's Shadow Scout

x2 Mystic Tomato

x2 Kuraz the Light Monarch

x2 Thestalos the Fire Monarch

x1 Morphing Jar

x1 Sangan

x2 Mask of Darkness

Spells

x3 Gravekeeper's Servant

x2 Spell Absorption

x1 Monster Reborn

x3 Big Bang Shot

x3 Fairy Meteor Crush

x1 Heavy Storm

x1 Smashing Ground

Traps

x3 Robbin Goblin

x3 Robbin Zombie

x1 Mirror Force

x1 Jar of Greed

x1 Magic Cylinder

The Robbin Goblins and Zombies are for discarding cards from their hands and decks. The Bistro Butcher puts cards in their hand for them to get rid of for the Robbin Goblins. Gravekeeper's servant gives you either protection or discards a card from their deck. Fairy Meteor Crush and Big Bang Shot help you deal damage even against defense-position monsters so that the Robbins can have their effects activated. It's fairly quick and rather easy to tilt the game into your favor.

Well, that's all for now! Don't forget to cast your vote for your favorite card in my contest. The awards for the contest are:

-Best Overall(MVP)

-Best Picture

-Best Effect

-Gamers' Choice(most underrated)

-Best Deck Basis

-Otakus' Choice(best from the anime)

-Best Fusion/Ritual

-Best Clutch(best when it really matters) -Fan Favorite -Best Spell/Trap If you're sending in your votes, make sure you have the nominees and why you chose them to win the award they're nominated for. Yes, you can nominate a card for more than 1 award. All cards chosen must be in compliancy with the Limited Lists. That means no Forbidden cards will be allowed to win/be nominated from now on (sorry John that means no CED, PoG, CS, Yata, or TER). I will be checking the Limited lists to make sure that it ISN'T Forbidden. See ya later! Go Flames Go!
