Trading Card Game Tips from fans

February 2008

accidic fire? --pwii

Hi, it’s been a while since I wrote, but I’m back with my promised venom burn!
This is an ok burn deck, and I don’t know if it’ll get very far. Well, here it is!

Monsters x15
Venom serpent x3
Venom cobra x3
Venom snake x3
Des koala x3
Stealth bird x2
Venom boa x2
Marshmallon
Spirit reaper

Spells x14
Meteor of destruction x3
Tremendous fire x3
Venom swamp x3
Messenger of peace
Venom shot x3
Llab

Traps x11
Venom burn x3
Secret barrel x3
Damage = reptiles x2
Snake deity’s command x3

THE MATCHUPS

A little bit better then burn because of the lack of face-up s/t’s. Bad against control and major s/t destroying decks (like mine.)

THE STRATEGY

Burn, and when the opportunity presents itself, attack directly. That’s the reason for the lack of spells.

THE CARDS

Most of the venom monsters for the venom counters. Cobra can be searched out and make a wall for a few turns with damage = reptiles. Some burn and stall staples.

Notice the lack of stall spells. This is because the backup strategy will sometimes require you to attack. A few stallers, best of burn, and venom shot for getting counters out quick. Venom swamp for continuous destruction and burn. By the time your opponent blasts it, you just might be far enough in advantage to win.

The best of burn, some venom support, blah blah blah. Nothing really out of the ordinary except for snake deity’s command which takes the place of dark bribe/ solemn judgement.

THE CUTS

The only reason I’m adding this is because I felt something deserved a special say. That thing was a combo with A cell breeding device and alien physic. So basically get out breeding, use damage = reptiles to summon physic and lock your opponent down. it’d’ve been nice, but the deck was getting a little to big.

THE END

Don’t forget I’m doing CotDs you can check out some more decks at gameking.hudzilla.org . Just go to the players (I’m pwii) and look at the decks I requested ‘feedback’ on. if you’re interested in trading, A) tell me what you want, and B) once the trade was decided, send me yours first (I’m paranoid.)
