fiend deck fix from The Jessenator!
This is Jessenator way back from the Toon Deck FIx..
Standard Fiend Deck Fix..
Hello, pojo readers…
The Phantom of Darkness Premiere was a big hit in
most aspects. With the release of the set came Cyber
Valley.. which is going to be abused. Giga plant,
which is really an Il Blud on steroids, I’m hoping
more plant/insect support comes in our way.
The last deck fix I did was on a Toon Deck, which
was unique in certain ways.. BUT today’s topic is on
Fields! Dark / Fiend monsters have gained a lot of
support within the last couple sets, especially with
doom shaman I think..
I did not incorporate any PTND cards because I am
not 100% familiar with all the rulings, so please
give me suggestions… Although I cannot resist
putting Hate Buster in..
Effect: When a monster that your opponent controls
attacks a fiend monster on your side of the field.
Destroy the attacking monster and inflict life
points equal to the destroyed monster’s original
attack.
One of my friends have just started Yugioh recently
so he sent me a fiend deck for me to edit:: Well,
lets take a look!

Alright.. we need to size this down around 40
right?? For the best drawing effency. So I decided
to cut the following cards and for a good reason..
TAKING IT APART! (card should be taken out)
?x Archfiend Soldiers- with all the slates and elite
goblin forces, who needs these vanilla monsters.
I’ll have to figure out how many I need to cut
1x Dark Necrofear- with all the phoenix wings and
raizas floating arounds, this silly thing can be
blasted back on top!!
1x Exiled Force- This deck needs to be fast, I know
exiled is a useful card but in a fiend deck that
needs to constantly summon, a bit of a waste..
1x Jinzo- You definitely need traps here, and
there’re more tribute monsters in this deck that can
be more useful.
2x Summoned Skull- AHH the classics, but there’re
just better tribtes
1-2x Newdoria- This card is just a little slow, but
it can be summoned by Mystic Tomato, but since this
deck is really aggressive.. mystic tomato is too
weak..
1x Mask of Darkness- Don’t need it.. its just a bit
too slow w/ the current format
1x Jinzo- Traps work well with this deck, jinzo just
kinda messes it up.
1x DD Warrior Lady- Same reason as Exiled Force
3x Hammer Shot- most of your monsters are buff and
strong, this mostly would back fire
1x Book of Moon- A GREAT CARD, but you have better
options here..
1x Scapegoat- This deck is aggressive, but
stall/burn!!
1x Sword of Revealing Light- Same reason as
Scapegoats
1x Tribute to the Doomed- Too costly for a monster
destruction, A LOT MORE 1-1 removals
2x Bottomless Trap Holes- I will explain this later,
you can put better cards that fit today’s format
inplaceo of this.. STILL a great card though
1x Magic Cylinder- Don’t need to inflict damage,
just 1-1 is good for this deck..
Now we need to put some cards BACK!!
SHOVING IT IN!
1-2x Doom Shaman- GREAT card, basically like an IL
BLUD, notice he is a gemini but most unfortunate a
spellcaster, so he cannot re-summon another himself.
2x DD Assailants- Provides attack and defense
protection against your opponent and it is faster
than an exiled Force and Warrior Lady (also idk what
else to add lol)
1x Morphing Jar- This card is a MUST for all agro
decks… (which is this deck). Also this card can be
searched by sangan.
1x Snipe Hunter- This card is very annoying and
dangerous, most decks that attacks carry it .. and
he’s also a fiend, so why not use it…
2x Cyber Dragon- These are a must for any aggressive
decks.. and they do good on swarming the field
quickly and taking out beaters..
1x Nobleman of Crossout- This a good card for any
agro deck.. getting rid of those facedown effect
monsters cannot be easier
1x Fires of Doomsday- It’s a +1 to start with.. and
if you activate it at your opponent’s End Phase,
then sacrifice for Doom Shaman, or Hades… or just a
simple attack blocker
2x Enemy Controller- With the Special Summoning
effect of Doom Shaman.. This can be used both ways…
a powerful card with only the first effect
2x Hate Buster- AN AWESOME CARD for fiends (an
advanced verson of a Sakuretsu Armour)
2x Dust Tornado- I KNOW this is OVERDOING it, BUT!
Doom Shaman is an important card in this format.. so
you need to get rid of those Macros to keep your
monsters in the Grave! Also you want to freely
attack without those annoying sakus.. right?
1x Sakuretsu Armour- This can be used anytime
instead of a monster attack
1x Deck Devastation Virus- This card can be used
with ease with Shaman on the field.. but 1 copy is
enough because you don’t have shaman all the time
1x Dark Spiritual Art- Greed – I don’t know how well
this card does, but you can give it a try..
SO FINALLIZATION!!- We have!

I’m not all that familiar with fiends, so I
definitely made some mistakes.
Discussion about this deck fix, a general YGO card,
trades can be made to me..
I will try to do a deckfix article like this every
1-2 weeks.. so the next deck fix may be yours..
