Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Harpies...the effect nobody reads

Before anything I'd just like to say a few things. Even though I've read many posts on pojo (especially the 'Card of the Day' section), I've never posted anything myself. So today I felt like...giving back to the community, and share some things I know about yu-gi-oh which people may not know.

This brings be nicely on to the actual point of my post. As the title suggests it's about Harpies, and the effect the nobody reads. Huuum, weeell..."read" might not be the best word, more like "thinks about".

Ok lets start again...

Harpies...the effect nobody *things about*

By now you're probably thinking "WTF is this gay talking about". Well as you all know the latest harpies all have the effect "This cards name is treated as Harpie Lady" (or something along thems lines). For anyone who doesn't know what cards I'm talking about they are....

- Harpie Queen

- Harpie Lady 1, 2 and 3

- Cyber Harpie Lady

All these cards have the effect of making them selves be called "Harpie Lady", does anyone know what that means....? *tick-tock-tick-tock* Times up, that means 5 different cards are called "Harpie Lady" plus the original Harpie (Harpie Lady) makes 6 cards with the same name. Anyone catching on yet. YEAH I DO!! Oh yeay I'm not just typing to my self then.

Yes it clashes with the 3 card rule of yu-gi-oh. So because the above harpies are all called Harpie Lady they are all the same card...and since you're only aloud 3 of 1 card...you see what I'm getting at.

Right now I'm picturing 4 types of reactions, one being yeah durr, 2nd, people going ohhhh yeahh, and the 3rd, the sound of people throwing or taking apart their Harpie decks and 4th people shouting LIES!!. well if anyone doesn't believe me just go on google and find out your self

*thinking time

Now thats sunk in, you've probably thought that harpies are sh!t or are now really sh!t because of that name changing effect. And because of that effect it makes it impossible to make a deck out of them (because you can only have 3 of them), makes Harpies pet baby dragon sh!t, makes "Harpies hunting ground" useless and the already sh!t "Elegant Egotist" even sh!tter.

Now I only found out just recently with a few of my friend (one of which had a had HAD, a harpie deck). Until then I only knew harpies were weak again things like "Karma cut" people they would all be removed from the graveyard and also...uhh I forget the name but the effect was you call out a card name and your opponent couldn't play that can't or it would be removed from play. The picture looked like some guy being seen through a sniper scope...Well anyway that's it for now, if i ca be bothered I'll make more posts.

But until next time, I hope this was useful or at least interesting

Email me at ezj@btinternet.com if you what me to talk about anything else facts about cards
