Yo yo yo,
Ace here. Informing you on cards and deck strategies
that are uncommon and under rated. Today, I'm here
telling you on a card that was released in the
Shadow of Infinity(SOI) set and now is fairly common
since the release of the second set of tins. I
normally call it "Slyfer, the sky dragon" but you
may know it as Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. if you
don't know what it does, here's a rundown on the
card:
Description:
[PYRO/EFFECT] This card cannot be Normal Summoned or
Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by
sending 3 face-up Trap Cards from your side of the
field to the Graveyard. Increase the ATK of this
card by 1000 points for each Continuous Trap Card in
your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can destroy 1 Set
Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the
field. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in
response to this effect's activation.
So what if you have to sack off three continuous
trap cards. If you run the right type of deck(like
me), then it's no problem.
The propose of this deck is stall for as much as you
can, but while you stall, you burn out your
opponents life points. All the monsters in this deck
are fire attribute, so will have some powerful
monsters such as ultimate baseball kid, and flame
spirit. And since almost all of the monsters in this
deck are fire attribute, you can use UFO turtle to
summon any monster in your deck.
There is one flaw to this deck ( if you want to call
it that ). No spells. Yeah, i know what you're
thinking. What? No spells. This deck wont work.
Guess what? Your wrong. This deck has alot of
potential. This deck has only has continuous trap
cards and fire monsters (except sangan) I have even
won local tournaments with this deck. So forget what
you heard. This deck is a force to be watched.
