Trading Card Game Tips from fans

July 2007

What to ban, what not to ban….. Mark

We’ve seen lots of ban lists come and go, and we’ve all been pissed at some, and agreed with some. We usually wait till the day after the new ban list (BL for now on) to unveil our best decks so their core or armor of the sphere (from my innovating trio of articles) will not get limited and/or banned. Here’s the newest additions and why they’re written on the BL (black list….).

Breaker The Magical Warrior (BL) : I was more than pleased to see him go!!! He isn’t nearly as good OR splashable as everyone credited him for. A Spellcaster, even though he can destroy ONE Spell or Trap, does not belong anywhere. Thanks, Konami.

Graceful Charity (BL): I’m sure we all wanna kill them for banning our last bit of Draw Support. If it helps EVERY deck, why ban it!? Why ban Pot of Greed? Everyone had it, and it helped every deck no more than the other!

Last Will (BL): I’m happy!!! Monarchs were really breaking this. Before that, it was kinda bad anyway. But I don’t use it, and any card I don’t use that’s banned makes me happier.

Magician of Faith (BL): I never killed it because it was a staple that I didn’t like for some reason. It needed to be banned BIG TIME, as it was in EVERYBODY’S deck, regardless of it’s synergy.

Victory Dragon (BL) Eh, we never liked him anyway.

Limited

Magical Stone Excavation: Anyone who can’t afford this is now proud of DDT’s power down. Sorry, Marc. NOT!

Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest: At least I don’t have to stare down the corruptness he had in Japan. But Beasts can make a deck for cheap money, so it hurts us all just a tiny bit. NOT!

Semi:

All of these are fine, but DD Assailant and Mask of Darkness should join Breaker at the pool. OF DEATH!

What we need to ban.

Cyber Dragon is the biggest problem. HE IS NOT SPLASHABLE AND EVERYONE IS USING THREE!!!! Ahem, Cyber Dragon is no Six Samurai, Fiend, Zombie, Warrior, or Crystal Beast. He is broken in his synergy-compatible decks and blind in all others. Limit him to one. I own a first edition alternate art Cyber Dragon and I put him in my Exodia deck. Why? Because my monsters can only stall. They’re to weak to attack. And there’s a certain tribute monster I will not say (no, it is not a Monarch!) that needs to get out ASAP, and Cyber Dragon helps me Stall, Fight, and summon. He doesn’t belong in my Six Samurai deck like

Grandmaster of the Six Samurai. He’s even better than Cyber Dragon, hence his reason to be banned. Semi-limit him! The only thing that changes the game faster than him is

The Monarchs. THEY ARE NOT SPLASHABLE!!!! AHEM, BECKETT, THEY DON’T BELONG IN A CRYSTAL BEAST DECK OR A SIX SAMURAI ONE! NOT A WATER DECK (exception of Mobius) AND NOT A FIRE ONE (exception of Thestalos) OR EVEN A FIEND ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monarchs have destroyed out beloved game, and thus they all need to be limited, if not banned. To be banned is the fate of another beatstick that people think is splashable and it goes by the name of

Jinzo. You need to have a special deck to actually work him, and as a result of his splashing, he deserves nothing but BANNING! BANNING! BANNING! BAM!!!

Yes and that is my opinion about Konami and their lazyness
