Trading Card Game Tips from fans

From: Shadow Master
Subject: The card to Kill Gadgets! - Master of Shadows

Hello, once again! Master of Shadows here. Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. I couldn't find something to say. Until now.

The Gadgets are coming. People want to stop them. I have the solution. Remember that old card, Chain Destruction? Let me refresh your memory.

Chain Destruction

Normal Trap

You can activate this card when a monster with an ATK of 2000 points or less is summoned (including Special Summon). This monster is not destroyed, but all Monster Cards of the same name in the summoning player's hand and Deck are destroyed. The summoning player's Deck is then shuffled.

You want to stop the Gadgets, you need to stop what gives them their advantage: the ability to search more from the deck. Well, they can't find more if they're all in the Graveyard. Sure, the one you use Chain Destruction on will stay and yes, they'll still search out another, but that new Gadget can't search out anymore because the one he would search is in the Graveyard.

Here's an example. They summon Gadget A. You use Chain Destruction. All Gadget A's are in the Graveyard. They search out Gadget B. Next turn, they use Gadget B to search out Gadget C. Gadget C would search out Gadget A, but he can't. Why? There are no more to search.

Here's the best part. Gadgets aren't the only cards Chain Destruction is good for. Remember all those battle searchers (Mystic Tomato, Giant Rat, Masked Dragon, Pyramid Turtle, etc.)? This kills those, too. The trick is to use it when they summon the first searcher, though, because this thing can't be activated in the Damage Step. You can also use this thing on Hydrogeddon. It'll prevent the advantage Hydrogeddon generates.

Got any more uses for this? Let's try Warrior decks that use many same-name cards. E-Hero and D-Hero decks, Cyber Dragon decks using Proto-Cyber Dragon, some Water decks, the list goes on and on. Can you find some more uses for it?

All in all, this is the key to stopping the imminent threat. With this, consider the Gadgets scrapped.

Questions? Comments? Send them to darkdestructionv30@yahoo.com

Until next time...
