Trading Card Game Tips from fans

December 2007

i can make a better deck then beckett! --pwii

Hi, this isn’t pwii. This is his malicious twin who looks like him, writes like him, and is him pretty much except for his secret desire to rule the world.

Anyway, when I was reading my yugioh! Becket [is that how you spell it?] Magazine I saw a deck featuring rainbow dragon. The problem was it had THREE COPIES of it in there. I thought what the @#!$%&? And thought ‘I could make a better deck then that!’ and here it is:

Monsters x19
Rainbow dragon x2

Card trooper
Crystal beast amber mammoth x3
Crystal beast amethyst cat x2
Crystal beast cobalt eagle x2
Crystal beast ruby carbuncle x2
Crystal beast topaz tiger x3
Gravi-crush dragon x3
Crystal beast emerald turtle x2
Crystal beast sapphire Pegasus x3

Spells x11
Gold sarcophagus
Rainbow ruins x3
Meteor of destruction x3
Foolish burial x3
Megamorph

Traps x10
Crystal raigeki x3
Secret barrel x3
Ceasefire
Dimensional wall x3

Booyah! So this deck is an OTK instead of control like doug made it to be. It basically burns and stalls until it can get dragon out and then it wins with a combo with Megamorph. Or not, depending on the lp.

THE MATCHUPS

This deck does well against control because they will waste resources to make sure I don’t pull something like abundance. What they don’t know is it isn’t in here so they just wasted that breaker. Although this could side into a normal cb control. A ss deck would probably beat this though.

THE STRATEGY

Get as many cb out there while burning and use dragon for game. OTK.

THE CARDS

Card trooper does wonders with this deck by hopefully dumping three beasts into the graveyard. The extra draw doesn’t hurt either. All the cb are in here as the ‘combo’ pieces and gravi-crush makes use of the dead cb in your s/t zone.

Sarcophagus can be replaced by D.D. capsule if you don’t have a fortune and a half, but it sure does the job by getting that last combo piece. Rainbow ruins is good for draw power if crystal raikegi and gravi-crush are nowhere in sight. Foolish burial is the absoloutely BEST card for getting cb in the grave. Meteor is the best of burn and Megamorph for the win.

The three crystal raigeki are helpful as the cb in their spell form aren’t much use otherwise. The rest are good burn cards.

THE END

Anything important or not, contact me at iizduhdude@yahoo.com I also use the name pwii at gameking.hudzilla.com [try it, it rocks!]. Don’t hesitate to mail me, I don’t get that much fan mail and would love some. [Hint, hint, nudge, nudge]
