Zombie Control Deck
By Jeff

I have been playing zombies since gravity bind came out (Dream Clown + Gravity Bind + Dragon Zombie).
When building decks, I have been looking for the weird random combos/cards that nobody expects in that deck type.
Nowadays, zombies have powerful swarm and draw. I was looking to build some kind of control-ish deck, and I wanted it to be aggressive. I'll put the deck, as I have it built and then I will explain it. I say "the way I have it built" because I don't have all of the cards I would like to put in it (such as Don Zaloog).

Monsters (18)
Mobius the Frost Monarch x 1
Ryu Kokki x 2
Vampire Lord x 3
Pyramid Turtle x 3
Zombie Master x 2
Sangan x 1
Magician of Faith x 1
Night Assailant x 1
Hiro's Shadow Scout x 2
Marshmallon x 1
Spirit Reaper x 1

Spells (15)
Premature Burial x 1
Book of Life x 3
Back to Square One x 2
Card Destruction x 1
Giant Trunade x 1
Book of Moon x 1
Card of Safe Return x 1
Giant Trunade x 1
Lightning Vortex x 1
Heavy Storm x 1
Cold Wave x 3

Traps (11)
Non-Aggression Area x 3
Call of the Haunted x 1
Mind Crush x 2
Robbin' Goblin x 1
Compulsory Evacuation Device x 1
Conscription x 1
Magic Drain x 1
Ceasefire x 1

Total Cards: 44

I'll explain why I have the cards that I feel need explaining.

Vampire Lord - he is being run in three because of his effect. Gets rid of threats in deck, and can come back.
Night Assailant - Can destroy a monster or get back your flips when discarded for costs.
Hiro's Shadow Scout - Can destroy spells and allow you to know a bit of what is in their hand Back to Square One - bounce to the top of their deck, allows you to know a bit of what is in their hand if the monster was face-up.
Giant Trunade - Bounce for hand destruction Book of Moon - defensive or allows you to re-use flips.
Cold Wave - stops them from using spells Non-Aggression Area - Stops them from summoning Conscription - Either get a guy or allows you to know a bit of what is in their hand Mind Crush - for comboing with the bounce, each other (as they have to show hand as proof) or the cards that let you see some of their hand.
Robbin' Goblin - Random hand destruction Ceasefire - stops their flips or tacks on random damage, usually 1000. I play it because I like it.

The purpose of the deck is to limit your opponents options, swarm then attack. Zombies can easily be brought back from the grave which makes them perfect for discarding for effects like Non-Aggression Area and Back to Square one (or in case Mind Crush backfires somehow). It has been good in testing, but I was only able to test on Zombies and on Ben Kei. There is a lot of room for improvement and editing (for example, -VLord and +Raiza). Its just something interesting I wanted to try.
Random Combos
Back to Square One on a face-up + Mind Crush when they draw - this makes them forfeit a draw and lose a monster Hiro's Shadow Scout + Mind Crush on monsters/traps - gets rid of spells and anything else you don't like Cold Wave + Non-Aggression Area - stops them from doing anything on their turn.
