Deck Fix: Mark McGuire's Warriors - Mark

No, I’m not Mark McGuire. But I did run a Warrior Deck back when I wasn’t a leik pro. Warrior Decks are about getting many strong monsters on the field. I still have that old Warrior Deck. I crush it with my Water one when I’m bored.

Freed the Matchless General
Silent Swordsman LV3
Silent Swordsman LV5 (x2)
Don Zaloog
Mataza the Zapper (x2)
Exiled Force (x2)
D.D. Warrior Lady
D.D. Assailant
Goblin Attack Force (x2)
Command Knight (x2)
Blade Knight
Marauding Captain (x3)
Elemental Hero Wildheart (x2)
Spell Striker (x2)

United We Stand
Mage Power
Axe of Despair
Rush Recklessly
Heavy Storm
Giant Trunade
Mystical Space Typhoon
Reinforcements of the Army (x2)
The Warrior Returning Alive
Pot of Avarice
Lightning Vortex
Swords of Revealing Light
Premature Burial

Magic Cylinder
Mirror Force
Torrential Tribute
Call of the Haunted
Waboku

Now, most Warrior decks tend to crawl a bit over 40. This one hit 42. And I gotta say, Mark, I like how you build decks. You know how it is with me, monsters first. And also, as an added treat, I’m going to make your deck hit the next format.

Freed the Matchless General
Mystic Swordsman LV2
Silent Swordsman LV5
Don Zaloog
Mataza the Zapper (x2)
Exiled Force (x2)
D.D. Warrior Lady
D.D. Assailant
Goblin Attack Force (x2)
Command Knight (x2)
Blade Knight
Marauding Captain (x3)
Elemental Hero Wildheart (x2)
Spell Striker (x2)

We’ll drop Silent Swordsman LV3. He’s too weak. We’ll drop one LV5 because his 2300 ATK just doesn’t cut it in today’s formats.

Other than dropping those two, there isn’t much else to do. Since we can now use Magician of Faith and Breaker, let’s put Magician of Faith in. Why not breaker? We’ll, he’d break some synergy in here, and we won’t need him where we’re going. Plus, we need Spells to function good in here. As for that last slot, I like how Mystic Swordsman LV2 can kill facedown monsters.

United We Stand
Mage Power
Axe of Despair
Shrink
Heavy Storm
Brain Control

Mystical Space Typhoon
Reinforcements of the Army (x2)
The Warrior Returning Alive (I had 2, but I took one out for Pot of Avarice)
Pot of Avarice
Lightning Vortex
Swords of Revealing Light (to flip opponent's face down monsters)
Premature Burial

Let’s get started on Spells, shall we? For one thing, we’ll upgrade a few of these wimpy cards. Shrink downright owns Rush Recklessly hands-down. You can buy them online for like, 4 bucks each. Next up, I have no idea why you don’t have Brain Control in here. It’s at one now, but it’s still as good as ever. We’ll take out that Trunade. We won’t need to blow traps away or recycle equips. So, now what?  Actually, that’s it.

Mirror Force
Royal Decree (x2)
Call of the Haunted
Threatening Roar

For one thing, we’ll upgrade Waboku into Threatening Roar. Now we’re getting rid of Magic Cylinder and Torrential Tribute for two copies of Royal Decree. We don’t wanna wipe out our army, do we? Plus, we want to disable the enemy’s back line.

The deck is still at 42, but that’s fine. All Warrior decks have 42, right? But, wait! We’re not done fixing up the Deck! It still needs a cool name!  Let’s give it something catchy, like DDT or something... M&M Warriors! Ya I like that J

I will accept deck fixes only during the day this article was posted, and I will only choose one. NO COOKIE CUTTER DECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!! This including things like DDT, Destiny Hero Beatdown, and other decks like that. If it is your deck that you created without copying anyone, and you would like some help with it, send it to me, or any comments to destinyhero@verizon.net. However, if your name is Laurie and you’re a jerk, please don’t. I wish I could do everyone’s deck, but I just don’t have the time for it. Keep in mind that I will put it in an article.
