Pure Spell Striker/Corrupted Spell Striker - Shadow Phoenix

Hey, this is my first tip for Pojo's Yu-gi-oh Tips section. I used this combo recently to defeat several of my friends in a casual tournament. All you need are 2 simple cards and a little luck.

Spell Striker
EARTH [Warrior / Effect]

Level 3
ATK: 600 / DEF: 200
"This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard from play. This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Battle Damage to this card's controller from a battle involving this card becomes 0."

.
Heart of Clear Water
SPELL
"If the equipped monster's ATK is 1300 or higher, this card is automatically destroyed. The monster equipped with this card is not destroyed in battle or by the effect of a card that specifically designates a target. Battle Damage is calculated normally. "

Just toss a Spell to Special Summon Spell Striker, then Equip HOCW. Striker is weak enough to Equip HOCW, and their combined effects have a special bonus. HOCW gives invincibility, but you still take Battle Damage.  Striker is weak, but you don't take Battle Damage from his battles. See where I'm going with this? Plus, Striker is is immune to target effects. For an added kick, you can add a third card:

Black Pendant

SPELL

"A monster equipped with this card increases its ATK by 500 points. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points."

Technically, this would be Corrupted Spell Striker. Striker now has 1100 ATK (still eligible for HOCW), and can slightly protect the original combos fatal flaw.  Most skilled duelists have probably seen it by now. MST/any card that can take out HOCW. With Pendant, you  can do much more damage before your opponent exploits said flaw. Plus, if they destroy Striker or Pendant is destroyed some other way, they lose 500 Life Points. Intresting, huh? In any case, the possibilities of Striker/HOCW are incredible.

If you have any Striker or HOCW revelations (they don't have to be together) or comments, e-mail me at archieiy@msn.com. Flames graciously accepted.  Canadian winters are cold and my electric bills are HIGH!
