Trading Card Game Tips from fans

April 2007

My Top 5 Good, but Unused Cards - Lance Frost

Okay, some people may think I'm crazy after this, and others might even take my advice. Either way, don't send me hate mail :(

5. Asura Priest:
Level: 4
Attribute: Light
Atk: 1700
Def: 1200
Type: Fairy/Spirit
Effect: This card cannot be special summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. This card can attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. You cannot attack your opponent directly if you attack any monsters first.

Ex. I side one of these, know matter what kind of deck I'm building. This monster can basically destroy every monster your opponent has out in one attack. The best part is, if he doesn't get destroyed in the process of his effect, you can return him to your hand and just use it again when need be.

4. Statue of The Wicked
Type: Trap
Effect: When this face-down card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, special summon 1 "Wicked Token" (Fiend-Type/Dark/4 Stars/Atk 1000/Def 1000) in Attack or Defense position on your side of the field.

Ex. Now here's an interesting card. I've actually tried these out in many decks, and as long as you or your opponent has a heavy storm or something else to get rid of them, you've got a perfect field for a two-tribute monster.

3. Chaosrider Gustaph
Level: 4
Attribute: Wind
Atk: 1400
Def: 1500
Type: Warrior
Effect: You can remove up to 2 Spell Cards in your Graveyard from play to increase the Atk of this card by 300 points for each card removed from play until the end of your opponent's nest turn. This effect can only be used once during your turn.

Ex. This is pretty much a weaker from of Bazoo. The only difference he uses Spell Cards to get power instead of Monsters. He is accessible via Sangan. Also, I see in a number of duels, Spell Cards tend to fill up the grave. And since the dreadful loss of Magician of Faith, there is really no use for them once they're in the graveyard. So I decided to find a solution and this is it. Anyone running a Bazoo Deck should consider him.

2. Infernal Dragon
Level: 4
Attribute: Dark
Atk: 2000
Def: 0
Type: Dragon
Effect: If this card attacks, it is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard from the field, you can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 monster.

Ex. Now here's a new card that some might not be familiar with. But this card is one of the best! Here is more use of Mind Control, Snatch, etc...Also, Tokens can be used for the cost of his effect! And for 2000 Atk, We could just use Gene Warped Warwolf, but he can't come back to life now can he.

1. Pulling the Rug
Type: Trap
Effect: Negate the activation and effect of an Effect Monster whose effect activated when Normal Summoned, and destroy that monster.

Ex. Best Card Ever! I always have 2 or 3 of these in my main and side deck put together. Here's the answer to those pesky Monarchs! Take out some gadgets before they get to pull each other out of the deck! Stop Marauding Captain in those annoying Warrior Decks! The possibilities are endless!

So next time you build a deck, consider these cards as well! Some may come in handy when the time comes. Any responses or other stuff send to dreadscythe111@yahoo.com

Thanks...:)
