Subject: HAMON! Lord of the Burn Deck

I'd like to contribute by creating a Hamon deck that will be used for his obvious only use....and that would be burn.

The deck is mostly based on beating the crap out of your opponent with Hamon, and burning them to bits when you can't get him out. Of course, we're going to need Level Limit- Area B Because this card is just...wow. Sticking it to your opponents Vampire Lords, Cyber Dragons, Giant Orcs, and everything inbetween. Running three of these is actually good, cos it isn't a half bad top deck and it's Hamon food.
ANd since he's gonna send it to the graveyard, you don't have to worry about him being stuck in it. So Let's check out the Spells that'll take us to victory!

Spells-[x15]
Level Limit Area-B [x3]
Mass Driver
Swords of Revealing Light
Messenger of Peace
Lightning Vortex
Wave-Motion Cannon [x2]
Spell Absorption [x2]
Chain Evergy
Giant Trunade [x2]
Mystical Space Typhoon

LLAB is to keep those meanie monsters from killing your crappy cards.
(Cos your other monsters are REALLY crappy). It's also great Hamon food.
I just have one Messenger of Peace cause we need those lifepoints and we already have 3 LLAB and i don't want dead draws. Swords is just to stall, and I do love stalling. Lightning vortex is just in case you'd like to kill some stuff (which will be increasingly easy as you see the next upcoming cards.) Wave Motion is not only a cont. spell but it's great burn with the cards you're running. Mystical Space is there for obvious reasons. Ya know, even the playing field. People may want to run scape goat, but I say why waste the space when they can't attack you anyway.Do it if you like, idc. Chain Energy, just drop all the cards you want, then play chain energy and you have NOTHING to worry about. And spell absorption will cancel it out for most of what you're playing.

Traps[6]
Final Attack Orders [x2]
pole position
staunch defender [x2]
Call of the Haunted

These are so self explanitory it's not even funny. But I'll do it anyway. Final Attack Orders. Everyone's stuck in attack mode. They can't protect their lifepoints (not that we're attacking with Hamon).
FAO is more for pissin people off. "Okay, I'll play a fd mon and end my turn." "Okay, my draw, and i activate FAO. OH WOW. ROYAL MAGICAL LIBRARY?!?! Say hello to HAMON LORD OF STRIKING THUNDER!!!!!!" and bam, they just lost 5000 lifepoints. Staunch D. is just an obvious choice for this deck. Okay, so they think it's a good idea to attack something? Who cares, meet Hamon! ANd Pole Position is YAY I CAN GET RIGHT THROUGH THAT SILLY MoP. Always nice. But now, now it's time for the REAL meat of the deck. The monsters.

Monsters[19]

Tribute[5]
HAMON, LORD OF STRIKING THUNDER! [x2]
Exood, master of the Guard
Guardian Sphinx [x2]

Normal/Effect[14]

Giant Germ [x3]
Magician of Faith [x2]
Stealth Bird
Maharaghi [x2]
Moai Interceptor Cannons [x3]
Sand Moth [x2]
Tsukoyomi

Okay, so, yes, It's a Hamon Deck. But as you watch te deck unfold Exood seems like such an obvious deck choice. The Basic Idea of the deck is to stall until you can get out Hamon or Exood (Actually, Hamon is more realistic). Then you just unload on them with an insane amount of lifepoint damage. Flipping and re-flipping Stealth Bird, LLAB and Exood ensure some SERIOUS LP damage there. And MAgcian of Faith let's me do it all over again. MIC is obviously to A-Stall and B-HA EXOOD!!! LP DAMAGE. Maharaghi is simply to give you more choices as the game goes on. You're about to draw another LLAB or Hamon? No thanks, I'll take this Guardian sphinx instead! Sure it's a game of chance, but no one wants to top deck, say, a spell absorption, so just giveyourself the choices. It's also earth, so playing it face down really kills your opponent. (with exood's effect). Sure, this deck is SUPER situational, but it'll win some duels, and you get to use that seemingly craptastic Hamon you've been saving for a rainy day..or a newb trade.

[focus and main combo]

The Focus is to stall like crazy until you can bring out your big...defenders. Exood can even been seen as stall for Hamon. The Stalling gives you plenty of time to do some lifepoint damage. Also, your opponents just won't know what their facing. When your opponent doesn't know what their playing against until it's got them down to 2000 LPs, it (obviously) gives you a huge advantage.

ANd the main combo!!!

(on your field) Face up LLAB, MAss Driver, Spell Absorption and face down Call of the Haunted. You play Lightning vortex. and Call back your discarded Sphinx. But he's not staying cos from your hand, out comes the EXOOD. He's in defense. Flip two Moai Interceptors. Hello 2000 damage. Flip them face down, play Swords of revealing light. Rinse, wash and repeat.

SO that's insanely situational and will never happen, but the main fact is that you can win with this deck. Just burn them to death and bring out Hamon Mid-game when you know that their cards aren't nearly as threatening anymore. Then burn'm summore, but beat them senseless with an out-of-nowhere burning beatstick.

-Shulix Please complain to me about exactly how bad this deck is.
really. Please do. ShuJulian@aim.com

IM me at ShuJulian if you want to discuss YGO! or decks or...ya.
