Subject: Beastdown Semi Originality - IgaruKetsuki

Ahh Beastdown, a happy happy deck that has unfortunately not been doing as well as it maybe should in recent years. However i am here to end this! This

deck got me to forth place at my local mini tournament (i say mini... out of

around 40 i think) and out ranked to former regional champions, including one that was beaten by it (he ran darkworld). The thing is until the release

of FET Beasts didnt have much in the way of M/T control (as in none) , making them a bit... old... a bit behind the times. What with monarch control decks, soul control, and warrior tool box being so... annoyign and controly (not a real word, dictionary fans) beast decks have been getting owned. Chiron the mage and sacred phoenix of neptis have helped this alot, both cards being used in control and random beatdowns, even in warrior toolbox. With the reintroduction of graceful phoenx is easeir to get in first turn to start the phoenix saga (lol), as in your opponent expending resourses to try and remove it as soon as they can or take control of it, or

whatever to kill t so it stays dead. This helps your hand resource problems in the deck as they kepp wasting resources on the git. Tree born frog has greatly helped this deck (target for hand of neptis, free protection, opponet wastign resources to clear your field). Upsettignly this deck needs staples, such as breaker jinzo, and really upsettingly cyber dragon. I had previosly tried the deck with two manticores of darknesss instead of jinzo and c dragon, but whilst you could get one out first turn with graceful they

sapped your hand and field to get there effects. Exarrion universe and enraged battle oxes shoudl be staple in all beast decks, just because of the

trample. And of course dont forget beserk gorilla. He owns. Anyway now to the deck... its sightly boring construction but v fun to play.

Monsters:
19 monsters:

Sacred phoenix of neptis (Constant monster on your turn and good control, bad top deck) Hand of Neptis Chiron the mage (get rid of unwanted magic cards to destroy possible thrests

to beatdown)
Pitch black warwolf (Protects from battle phase traps, such as mirror force,

forcing your opponent to use spells on it)
Beserk gorilla (Beatstick, beats most commonly used monsters, annoylingy has

to suicide into c dragons etc if theres nothing else to attack) Exarion universe (A strange one this, can be used as defence with iths mighty 1900 def or can be a trampler, also a good beatstick) 2*Enraged battle ox (These own, they really do and combo with the above cards very well for trampling fun, also strong enough to suicide into
assailant)

Support monsters: (This is where it gets boring and unoriginal as hell) Jinzo (Provides lovely lovely trap negation supporting your mosnters and stopping nasty bottomlesses, also provides an alternate for your opponent to

remove with warrior lady/ assialant instead of phoenix) Cyber dragon (Ooooh there are so so many reasons to run this in any deck, but in this deck it really helps, a free tribute, a free summon, it helps to

swarm, first turn phoenix, bottomless bait, etc etc. Comboed with maurauding

captain and you can do stupid amounts of damage first turn.) Treeborn frog (A must in this deck as spells and traps dont last long, it also gives you a free tribute monster, free defence, monster for for hand of

neptis, etc etc, bloody hell its good)
Sangan (A must in any deck really. In this deck you can search out tree born, hand of neptis (this reaally helps as hnad is a really bad top deck when phoneix is on or removed), maurauding captain, exiled force, dd lady, mag of faith, so yeah a must) Maurauding captain (Helps to swarm, makes people make torrential mistakes, first turn phoenix etc etc) Exiled force (This is fun and practical, if theres no tagets for it on your opponents side then nuke phoenix with it, making life harsh for your opponent when it comes back, mostly used to nuke opponent) 2*Magician of faith (These will become clear v soon) Breaker (M/T destruction) DD warrior lady and dd assailant (Needed to destroy big monsters nad of course gay smaller monsters (treeborns etc)

Magic
Swords (Duh!)
2 nobleman of crossouts (mwhahahahha)
2 smashign grounds (super destructuion yay) Heavy storm (Needed to stop bottomless etc) MST (ditto) Graceful charity (you work it out) Snatch (super synergy) Brain control (ditto) Enemy controller (versility) Book of moon (stops all manner of nastiness) Pot of avarice (Really helps again) Scapegoat (hmm...) Premature burial (Hmm again)

Traps:
3 sakeretsu armours (field clearage)
Mirror force (the aboves daddy)
Call of the haunted (super combos)
Bottomless trap hole (Much needed defence) Zero gravity!!!! (So many uses, anti sakuretsu armour, anti mirror force, anti scapes, anti loads) So yeah thats me deck its reet good i tell thee and as previosly said before

can hold its own, also lucozde (Glucorade, high enrgy drinks etc) is needed to use this deck lol. Have fun peeps.

Any questions rants etc-
