Subject: Dueling Revolution - Neo King of Games

Ah, the Warrior deck. Powerful, no doubt. And what Warrior deck is complete without three copies of a Dragon-like Machine, a Spellcaster that loses his ATK boost to destroy a Trap, and multiple copies of a Zombie that can't be destroyed in battle and destroys the opponent's hand when it somehow gets an attack in...God, what is wrong with you people?

Somebody tell me how Cyber Dragon could be seen as a Warrior-type? It's a Machine! And even if it weren't, it would be a Dragon! That's why it's called Cyber Dragon! And Breaker the Magical Warrior...okay, if he weren't a Spellcaster, he'd probably be a Warrior. But he isn't! So why's he in Warrior decks? And Spirit Reaper! There's no way that is anything like a Warrior! And yet you see it in multiples in CC decks...which are supposedly Warrior-based right now!

The standard CC Warrior deck right now isn't really a Warrior deck. Sure, Warriors are the most common type in the deck...but there are generally about as many or even more monsters that aren't warriors in it as there are Warriors. People are looking over their decks and noticing that two or three cards share a common theme...so they call their deck a Warrior deck, for example.

And Warrior decks aren't the only ones doing this. There are decks all over the world who claim to be something they aren't. You can't have a true E-Hero deck without at least one copy of each E-Hero and a Wroughtweiler or two. But there are "E-Hero" decks not even using Avian and Burstinatrix, the two main non-fusion E-Heroes!

No. That is not how you're supposed to do things.

So here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna build your decks for you. That way, they can be devoted to the theme they claim to be. When I build a Warrior deck, there won't be a single Cyber Dragon or Spirit Reaper in there, and if Breaker the Magical Warrior shows up, it'll be in the side-deck as extra S/T removal, not main-decked for that same reason.

Here's what I want from you. Send me your themes. Send me the kind of deck you want to see built, and devoted entirely to the theme you sent. Don't give me something like Control, or Burn, or anything else that's too vague. I want actual themes.

Base these themes on certain cards, like E-Heroes or Dark Scorpions. Or base them on a type such as Spellcaster, Dragon, heck even give Plant a shot. You can base them on certain character's decks from the show, or a good combo. Heck, you could even base them on one set in particular.

The only thing I care about is that you send in your themes. Send me your themes and I can guarantee you will see that deck one day. Realize that these decks will, for the most part, be fun. I hate to admit it, but generally, decks like those I want to build are not particularly competitive.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't play them. That just means you'll have way more fun playing and worry less about winning.

Send questions, comments, and most importantly, THEMES to GUYOBRAINS@aol.com

P. S. Yes, I did use to put Dustin H. after the subject of the tip. But not anymore. It's a Dueling Revolution. Some names are gonna change. Doesn't Neo King of Games sound so much cooler than Dustin H., anyway?
