Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: Metagame, Part II, The Anime Impactm- strikeninja223

PlaydohDude here again. As promised, this time I'll be focusing on the Animes impact into the metagame. Most of these aren't going to be used in a tournament. So they would be more suited towards casual play. So, let's get started.

ELEMENTAL HEROES

Yes..... The heroes that need saving more than any other card....... Since Jaden uses them on Yugioh GX, they have become insanely popular. Many have traded amazingly rare or powerful cards, like Power Bond or Ancient Gear Golem, for Avian and Burstinatrix. The only things actually good for these cards are the fusions! People just wanna be like Jaden, the almost undefeated duelist. Which is why my next point, I will be a bit more positive on.

CHAZZ'S CARDS

Chazz is not one of the most popular characters on Yugioh GX, but he is a good one. I talked last time about Ojamas, whih have become a bit more popular, but he's also brought out another deck type, that most people would never do before this. First, it's the VXXYZ deck. The fusions are good for the most part, and they are mostly Unions, and there are some pretty good union support cards. Try out a union deck instead of Elemental Heroes! Next, we have the Armed DRagons. These are basically discarding monsters to destroy others. With Armed Dragon LV 10 now released in the duelist pack, and Level Modulation in there too, these actually aren't a bad deck to play.

SIDE CHARACTERS

In Yugioh GX, Camula and Nightshroud can't be called main characters. They are side characters. Yet, Dragons and Zombies Structure Decks are seemingly selling better than usual! Amazoness and Dark Scorpions may soon rise as well! Feel free to play any of these decks, but DO NOT opy them card for card!

DARK MAGICIAN!

Yugi.... The great duelist who for some reason uses this card! It was THE card to get, after BEWD, for your deck.Everyone wanted it, no matter how bad he was. This is such an easy card to get now, that most people think it is worthless. I do not agree. Well, I do partially. It has a bunch of little support, like Skilled Dark Magician and Dark Magic Attack. So, use it if you dare!

That's it for my Metagame articles. What will I do next time....

While I think about it, you guys keep on rollin'
