Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: The continuing war against non-originality, plus a new version of my classic deck, by Nagas= = h

Ok, I kind of pettered off after my last article (i.e. I didn't finish it), but I'm back, and I'm s= = addened to hear that Dark Maltos will not be posting any more articles (sob) :-(. I really enjoyed= reading his articles, but I do wonder, did he ever plan on finishing his 7 duelling technique art= icles or not (conspiricy theory time: Lost, X Files etc!!!).
But I'm mostly hear to tell you all of a couple of cards I feel are not only original, but effectiv= = e, that should go in most decks:
He's a Light Type (oooh, it's Chaos goodness. Personally, that's not a plus, but each to his/her o= = wn), and a Machine. So who is it=3F Cyber Dragon=3F Don't be silly, I'm about originality, so it c= an't be him. No, it's a wonderful card I just got from Enemy of Justice (yes, there are decent car= ds in the new sets (!)). It's Victory Viper XX03, the new version of Gradius!
It's a good card (although not good starting ATK, he'll soon get some more). Two major reasons:

He can destroy face-up Spell and Trap cards. A very useful ability. All it takes is a little mor= = e ATK than he currently has.

Summon a Token. Now, for me, this is a major benefit. Tribute needed=3F I've got an Option Token= = . Ritual Fodder=3F Yep, now I can summon Relinquished easily! There's so much it can do.

And it's a Level 4 monster, a easy to use type (shame about Gravity Bind and Messenger of Peace, bu= = t they're restricted, so hey!). The only major problem is the lower starting attack, but that will= change by his effect, and the next card.
Another card I feel should be in most decks is Rush Recklessly. Yes, a really old card! It's chain= = able, and can work like a suped-up Sakuretsu Armour (with a u, as I said before, I'm British, and = I'll spell words how I want to spell them). How=3F Well, say Jinzo had just attacked your Archfien= d Soldier (cause you're playing a Fiend deck, like my friends). Well, Sakurestu Armour wouldn't ev= en work, but if it could, nothing else would have happened. Actually, a better example is Mobius: = it gets summoned and destroys Sakuretsu, nothing you can do about it. But Rush Recklessly, you can= chain it, and boost your monsters ATK. Then Mobius wouldn't attack. I know it only delays somethi= ng, but otherwise you would have lost quite a bit. And going back to the Jinzo example, you will a= lso deal Life Damage (not a lot, but sometimes it's enough (and I'm here to say that people who sa= y Life Points aren't important are idiots: who cares how many cards you hold in your hand (say a mil= lion, all Smashing Ground (I know it's completely illegal, but this is just an example)), if you have no = = Life Points. You can't do anything, cause you've lost. So woop-te-do to Card Advantage again!
And now, my improved deck:

Now, it's most definitely a funny deck (not only for the fact it's got Toons in it) but it's very g= = ood (in my humble opinion). There's a couple of odd choices, like Fox Fire (well, I'm waiting for = one card to come out over here: Marsh Mellon (or whatever it's good), so much better than Spirit R= eaper, and themed to!) and Ancient Gear Cannon (kind of mini-Jinzo, that's all). But my side deck = is all about certain types of deck, like Misfortune for use against Stall Decks, and Ordeal of a T= raveller for Draw Decks (they need monsters on the field, not the hand). Plus Robbin' Goblin, Guar= dian Sphinx and Toon Gemini Elf are lethal. Very nasty. The Creator is a great card (I know it sho= uld be used in it's own deck, but it's a good card, and since my opponent uses a couple of Level 8= monsters, I can get it out (plus it has a very helpful effect. I once used it with Pot of Avarice= . My goodness, pure lethality!)). Gravity Bind, Outstanding Dog Marron, Nitro Unit and Monster Reincarnation are better off in the side deck (less situational, but still sometimes needed).
One last point is Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon shall soon go for Toon Dark Magician Girl (but only when I = = find her (damn she's hard to get!)).
Actually, soon I'll be going to tournies and seeing how my deck does there (please be very good!).
So, I'll sign off today with one final thing: please reply to me at nagash4king@yahoo.co.uk as I wo= = uld like to know what you all think of my articles so far (SD9-Dinosaur, and these to rants (or so= to speak)). All I have left to say is good bicycle (that's from Little Britain if it's not over i= n America, as I've never seen it on US TV while I've been over there (or in Canada), since all tog= ether, I've been over to that side of the world for about 10 or so weeks (not much, but it gives m= e a small feel of the place). Hopefully I'll be going over there to work to get some money at some= point (and meet relatives (now I'm getting personal...stop it!)).
Will
