Subject: Tip: The Do's and Don't in Yu-Gi-Oh -Sean Morse

Ok recently ive been observing the behavior of average duelists and ive compiled a list of Do’s and don’ts that will not only make you a better duelist, but also a more respected individual.

Ok to start off, we will start off with what not to do.

Never…

…Steal cards from anywhere, including stores. This will ruin your reputation and if you cross the wrong person (Like me), it may get you killed.

…Place food anywhere near a playing area while playing someone, because if you were to accidentally(You may say that you are super careful, But that is why it is called an accident.) spill you food on the cards on the table, either you would lose all of your cards, lose a lot of money replacing the opponents cards, or you could lose your teeth when the opponent smashes you in the face for destroying his cards.

… Throw an opponents cards, This would also lead to possible pain on your account.

… Make fun of the opponents deck, As with all the others, you cross the wrong person and you will be hurting.

… Never, and I mean NEVER!!! Gloat that you won a Game/Match, because not only is it annoying, but nobody in the room really cares that you won, it just makes you look extremely pompus.

… Never Flip out that you lost either, because that also makes you look like an idiot.

…Write after a match, never tell the opponent what they did wrong if they are emotional about the loss, this may trigger anger.

… Never eat the opponents cards, or any cards for that matter. I had a cyber dragon eaten by a duelist that wasn’t happy that it was played against him. When he picked it up and said he was going to eat it, I didn’t believe him until my cyber dragon was gone.

… Never assume anything in large scale tournaments, you are better off calling over a judge and making sure because that could be the difference between winning and losing a match.

… Never dance while eating dorito chips with salsa on a beach… Long story…

Now for the section on what you should be doing to be a good duelist.

You should always…

… Look for advice from other duelist, no matter how experienced, they may notice something that you haven’t and bring it to your attention.

… Ask questions if you don’t understand and further your understanding of every consept of the game.

… Read articles about the game and research to make sure that the article is correct, because articles are written by people, not gods that know everything.

… If you win, immediately extend your hand and let the opponent know how well they did, unless they didn’t do too well in which you just say, “good game, that was fun, hope to play you again.

…Always remember that this is a game, not a life altering death match that if you lose you will be ripped into little shreads… Although I may like that…

… If someone gives you advice that you don’t agree with, tell them why you don’t agree with it and mabe either they will change there mind or they may explain why they think it the way they do a little better.

… Always try answer questions of other players, because if you are wrong, it isn’t like the locals will torch your home… (Hey don’t burn my couch, ill need that to watch t.v.!!! Dang locals.)

… Treat others cards like they were worth more then your life.

… Always watch out for others, because if you see someone steal a card from another kid, then make sure that it goes to the owner.

… Always eat pineapples while sitting upsidedown. (Another long story.)

Well I hope that this tip helps some of you learn to become better duelists and possibly prevent you from dieing at an early age.

See ya….
