Subject: The upsides of having Cookie-Cutter friends-RequiemBlues

"Sakuretsu Armor"
"Smashing Ground"
"Bottomless Trap Hole"
"Cyber-Dragon"
"Enemy Controller"

After at least two or three rounds of this, the usual duel starts to get repetitive.Check next to you at a tournament, and you'll see the exact same cards in the duel. But, thanks to the natural order of things, space and time; repetitiveness breeds originality.By seeing same cards over and over, duelists start to think of ways they can make the game more interesting and original.I myself tried a "Great Dezard" which brought askings of "what does this do?" and "Uhhhh".At a Comic-Con I went to one year, I saw a competitive "Gradius" deck with support. It actually won duels and drawed a couple of times.

When forced to the wall with CC cards, most duelist's casual decks become their main.Or, when the time presents itself, a simple concept becomes a reality. One of my friends can make a whole deck of weird cards, coupled with a few staples, and kick my ass.All because he thought it might be fun.

One other upside to CC duelists is that they have multiples of a card.I think I convicnced a fellow duelist from the Legacy of Darkness time to think about rejoining the game.Since common cards of Staples have come out, it's easier to create a viable decktype and win a couple times.

Well, if this article did anything for you then i'm glad. You can contact me at Requiemblues@gmail.com

(By the way, if anyone is going to the 2006 Comic-Con in San Diego, you'll usually see me and my buds dueling with the Swap Meet and Comic-Odyssy people.Feel free to join us and compete in the tournament.Last year the prize was a Lost millenium box)
