Subject: Build a better Control Deck - brainof7

Ever come across the phrase build a better mousetrap?

thats exactly what i set out to accomplish one evening, with a control heavy enviroment how do i win? fight fire with fire but make sure youre not just a kindle but an inferno.

2x Fenrir

2x Silpheed

2x Luster Dragon

1x Twin-Headed Behemoth

1x Sonic Jammer

2x Gagagigo

1x Abyss Soldier

1x Nightmare Penguin

2x Mother Grizzly

1x Mermaid Knight

1x Mobius the Frost Monarch

1x Amphibious Bugroth Mrk 3

2x Spirit Reaper

(Total 19)

Magic -

2x A Legendary Ocean

1x Snatch Steal

1x Heavy Storm

1x Mystical Space Typhoon

2x Smashing Ground

1x Premature Burial

1x Swords of Revealing Light

2x Wave Motion Cannon

1x Nobleman of Crossout

1x Book of Moon

1x Brain Control

(Total 14)

Trap -

1x Torential Tribute

2x Sakuretsu Armor

2x Dust Tornado

1x Call of the Haunted

1x Ceasfire

(7 Total)

The first thing most of you are probably thinking is Wave Motion Cannon! (unless youre thinking why didnt he abbreaviate). Reason is, is that not only is it burn it is control tech too. Instead of getting rid of your opponents recourses you let youre opponent use it all by themselves or else deal game-winning damage. You can tinker with the Water based monsters because i had absolutely no clue what to put in instead. This is an aggro/control really, but it incorporates what control could not, Lock. This deck does a lot of things by itself, and it has some 1 - 1 but it gets what control was set out to do. Crash Silpheed into D.D. Assailiant, or Fenrir into Don Zaloog. They don't mind, they get thier effects pulled off or else contribute to helping. The aggro theme is just the 4x monsters with high attack that are used as bait. I also dont see why control decks dont use Twin Headed Behemoth. It is card advantage because it returns no matter what is thrown at it, dark hole or Torrential Tribute alike. Even if it staves off an attack it can still be used for mobius. The 2 reapers are there like they are in most control decks, you could drop the fenrir theme though, for some of the Don/Reaper theme that most decks have. Sonic Jammer, is definately a bit of overlooked tech, i mean most warrior decks can just use LV 2 against it, but its a valiant stave at something original.
