Subject: The Light at the End of the Tunnel - Mooch

All,

OMG IS IT GOOD TO B BACK!!! I figured sumthin was wrong with pojo.com, I sent in like 4 articles in one night back in October and NONE of them got posted...

O well, who cares IM BACK! ^_^

***chirp, chirp***

Ah, my adoring fans.

Ok, enough of this ecstatic behavior, onward to the article. (I didn't want to turn this into a rant, but sorry I did, I'll put something interesting at the bottom for you all) I am neither a conformist nor an originalist. I fall under the Understandinist catagory (man, I luv makin up new words).

I believe that certain "staple" cards are a must-have in all decks, even if they don't fit the theme of the deck. They just help out the deck in so many ways.

I believe that a lack of originality was truely killing the spirit of yu-gi-oh. Then with the new Ban List and the anhilliation of BLS and the "Trinity" and MoF and BoM and nameless other cards, almost every single person that ran Chaos scarmbled and screamed and cried (metaphorically, I hope) and just couldnt figure out what to do. If you want proof, read almost any article from around the time of the list. And by definition, when everyone scrambled, they all went in different directions. That truely saved the way everything was going. THANK YOU UPPER DECK

I recently went to my local tourny that on a regular basis holds the top players in my STATE. I took my trusty Rat Toolbox with and made it to the quarter finals (I should have gone on and won the tourny but I started to fall asleep and lost my concentration.) Neway, I saw a very diverse range of decks. I saw Bonetower Deckout, Chaos-Rush, RESCUE CAT, Control, Burn, Dark World, Beatdown, Toolbox Warrior, and, unfortunately, a couple of what I'm just gunna call CC Toolbox. I believe that the diversity of the yu-gi-oh community has finally arrived.

Now, for those of you loyal enough to digest that entire article, I'm going to include a deck evaluation of my deck.

THIS ENTIRE DECK GOES TO THE CREDIT OF LEON, WHO GAVE ME THE IDEA

Peace

Mooch
