Subject: Before The Cookie Cutter - Nik King

Hey everyone, my name is Nik and I live in Memphis, TN. Like everyone, I began playing in card shops and still do. I began playing when the first Yugi/Kaiba structure decks came out. Back than there were really no CC decks except the occasional Exodia if you could get your hands on all 5 pieces.

Now one of the most abused CC themes is the Warrior Toolbox. I remember back when I first saw a Legacy of Darkness booster pack at my local card shop. I bought a few and when I openen one I got my first gaze at The Captian. Then I started to play a warrior deck.

Back in the day there weren't much to choose from while dealing with warriors. Most decks ran two Captians, two GAF, two Freeds, and two Dons simply because there was no other warriors. sure there was the dark Scorpion bunch but only a few of them had effects worth playing (not including Don). There was even one of the first swarming techniques using Reinforcements of the Army to pull a Captian and then summon an additional monster.

Who knows what we might see with the new Shadow of Infinity boosters. From all the talk of the talk of the new Demon cards and the brand new Insect cards, many possibilities open up. The Insects may become the new warrior CC. With all the Ban List modifications the options of Yu-gi-oh players keeps changing.
