 Yugioh Reader Tips, Rants and Raves

Subject: Why are specific cards are so dang popular-bowiefan



Since the past couple of years of me playing in yugioh tournements there has always been decks and "tech" cards that everyone played. Like in the beginning everyone in my area played exodia or maha vailo. Now it's warrior toolbox or soul control. Everyone runs sakuretsuos and dekoichis now too. So I (and no doubt many others) have wondered wow this is getting real dumb.

I have started to get bored playing yugioh a couple monthes ago when CRV came out and the new ban list because I knew as soon as I saw cyber dragon it will become the OMG LOOK THAT IS THE SINGLE GREATEST CARD EVER!!! So I wanted to do something that would interest me in the game while still be the best in my tourney(welllll close to the best :P).

I decided to make myself a ton of decks, I mean like 12 to try out. And you know what happened the same magic and trap cards wounded up being in the same deck. Dark hole, snatch steal, smashing,sak, widspread, etc. So I am starting to think why doesn't UDE or Konami make new mag and traps that people will use instead of the garbage they give us.

What this page is really trying to convey is that yugioh kicks monkey butt, but I wish they had cards that not everyone would use. So this is why I think yugioh will go down hill(or why it has been) in the next year or so. If you have any helpful hints email me at
