What?!?! Chaos gone?! - Master of Shadows

Hello. Master of Shadows here with my two dollars on the rumored banning of Chaos Sorcerer. Here's the rant.

After hearing rumors about the supposed new ban list (and the supposed banning of Chaos Sorcerer), I decided to use some of this space for ranting. For the record, I'm doing this because this is my strongest deck, not to mention my favorite. It also features my favorite card, and the possibly newly banned Chaos Sorcerer holds this deck together. The deck is unified under it. Skip it if you will. Chaos Sorcerer is a card that did NOT deserve to be banned. Its Envoy counterparts went to 1 first before being banned, and they had kick-@$$ effects. Not kick-BUTT, kick-@$$. Limiting Chaos Sorcerer to two would've been enough. One's a stretch, though. People are already countering Chaos decks with Macro Cosmos and the like. Chaos Sorcerer is also defeated by the Monarchs. Face down monsters work, too. Anti-removal cards. There are actually a lot of commonly used cards that can counter Chaos Sorcerer.

Let's compare Chaos Sorcerer to Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. Both can remove monsters. BLS can remove anything; Sorcerer removes only face up monsters. BLS has stats equal to Blue-Eyes; Sorcerer can be beaten by all those monsters that cap at 2400 attack. Both can't attack after removing something. BLS has a double attacking ability (and with those stats); Chaos Sorcerer must use another card like Double Attack or Twin Swords of Flashing Light (both of which cost you something important) to gain a second attack. BLS went from 3 to 1 to 0 after a while; Sorcerer went from 3 to 0 after recently popping up on the radar since the Champion killed everyone with it. Do you see my point?

[End of Rant]

I had copied this rant from someplace else as I had just written it on another site. If the wording seems off, then don't worry. Just rearrange it.

A few things need to be added, though. If they ban Chaos Sorcerer, they might as well ban Chaos style summons altogether. Doom Dozer is the first one that comes to mind. Stronger with the same cost. Soul of Purity and Light also comes to mind. Lesser stats than Chaos Sorcerer, but has enough to hold its own. Its effect allows for it to live a while. Almost nothing short of the Monarchs and monster removal can take it out during the opponent's turn. Gigantes is another. Solid beatstick plus a Heavy Storm effect. I could even go into far stretches like Silpheed. Spirit Reaper effect upon destruction. Tribute bait as with all Chaos style summons.

That's all I have to say at the moment. I'll have more soon. Contact me at darkdestructionv30@yahoo.com.

Until next time...
