Subject: Interesting Idea for Chaos - Master of Shadows

Hello, everyone. Master of Shadows is back after about a month or two. I'm sorry the last one was so short, but I was pressed for time. Doing an article in two minutes is not something I planned on, but it had to be done.

Now to what I planned on writing about. Here's an interesting idea using Chaos. Let's go to the Princess monsters, or rather, their basic forms, White Magician Pikeru and Ebon Magician Curran. For those who've forgotten what they do, let's review.

White Magician Pikeru

Light/Level 2/1200/0

Spellcaster / Effect

Increase your Life Points by 400 points for each monster on your side of the field during your Standby Phase.

Ebon Magician Curran

Dark/Level 2/1200/0

Spellcaster / Effect

Inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field during your Standby Phase.

Both effects can be made decent with their own support, but has anyone tried them in a deck together? I have. It works. Let's go over what should go in the deck. The above two go in automatically since they're the focus (somewhat).

Chaos Sorcerer

If you don't know what he does, go to Wal-Mart and find their gun section. Steal one and let the police or security shoot you. If they don't, then do it yourself. Let me refresh your memory before you kill yourself. Remove one Light and one Dark monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card. Once per turn, you can remove one face up monster on the field from play. If you do, this card can't attack this turn. (Level 6 / Dark / Spellcaster / Effect / 2300 / 2000)

The deck is focused on the Princess twins. One's Light; the other's Dark. It only makes sense. He's the other focus.

Apprentice Magician

Level 2 / Dark / Spellcaster / Effect / 400 / 800

When this card is Summoned, place 1 Spell Counter on any card that may receive them. When this card is destroyed in battle, you may Special Summon one Level 2 or lower Spellcaster from your deck to the field in face-down Defense position.

The Princess twins both fit the requirement. Why not? Another pillar.

Old Vindictive Magician

Level 2 / Dark / Spellcaster / Effect / 450 / 600

Flip: Destroy one monster on the field.

Searchable by Apprentice. Monster removal. Again, why not?

Shining Angel and Mystic Tomato

Battle Searchers for Light and Dark, respectively

One searches Pikeru. The other searches Curran and Apprentice. I kept Shining and ditched Mystic. (Sorry Curran, but you're not my favorite; Pikeru is.) Do what you will.

Magician of Faith

Level 1 / Light / Spellcaster / Effect / 300 / 400

Flip: Select one Spell card in your Graveyard and return it to your hand.

Searchable by Apprentice. Returns vital Spell cards. The challenge will be in finding a reason NOT to run it. Use 2 if you want.

D.D. Warrior Lady

Level 4 / Light / Warrior / Effect / 1500 / 1600

When this card is involved in battle, you can remove this card and the other monster involved in this battle from play after Damage Calculation.

Something to that effect. Monster removal. All around good card. Searchable by Shining Angel and our next card...

Sangan

Level 3 / Dark / Fiend / Effect / 1000 / 600

When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, select one monster from your deck with 1500 ATK or less and add it to your hand. Show the monster to your opponent and shuffle your deck afterwards.

He searches just about everything in this deck. See Magician of Faith's challenge.

Run any other monsters you see fit.

Spells and Traps

You must protect your Princess twins so that they may get their effects off. The standard stall cards will do. Some Equips to power up your Princesses. Monster and Spell / Trap removal could help. Chaos Sorcerer takes care of face up monsters. Just a few more cards. Mystic Swordsman LV2 and Nobleman of Crossout take care of face down monsters. Mobius, Heavy Storm, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Dust Tornado take care of Spells and Traps. Breaker, too. He's actually needed here since he fits, is Chaos bait, and can be re-countered. Toss in some Burn cards since the Princesses can't do it by themselves.

That's all I have for now. If you want my version of the deck or have anything to add to this, let me know by contacting me at darkdestructionv30@yahoo.com. And yes, White Magician Pikeru is my favorite card. Now that that's out there, you can see why I did this.

Until next time...
