Machine Combo - kanan_ball

Well, I'm back again. Here to pass an idea I've had a while back.

The person who posted about 'multiple "Raigekis" in a deck' a few days back just got me thinking of a combo I've been waiting to use. For those of you that had not read that post yet, the basic point is since there are a lot of single typed decks being used, that cards like Last Day of the Witch become more useful.

But unfortunately could never do because the key card to the deck has not, and probably will never come out. The card is called Stain Storm. The basic effect, destroy all face-up Machine monsters on the field. This card is optimal because of one of the major threats to the combo, Jinzo.

Well, todays rules have banned the use of Dark Hole and Raigeki. The last card left is Lightning Vortex, but you only have one. This combo somewhat amplifes the amount "Lightning Vortex"-like cards you can have.

The basic idea I had is to play a Machine King Deck. Use DNA Surgery to change everything to Machines as if you were preparing the field for your Machine King. But in reality, what you are doing is setting the field so you're ready to get out of trouble. If your opponent gets massive monsters out, you are ready with Stain Storm and DNA Surgery active. Jinzo wouldn't really help too much either because he is a Machine. So you have both a Jinzo-removal and mass monster-removal.

If you haven't noticed, the strategy has two major flaws. One, it doesn't work well with people that like to play a lot of facedown monsters. But, there are more dangerous all-out-offensive duelists than there are defenders. Two, MST and Dust Tornado against DNA Surgery makes you waist your cards. But most Decks run three of those cards, tops. So I doubt they'll be using them to blast a simple DNA Surgery.

But as I said before, Stain Storm has not made it's English release. So what was the point of this whole tip... just one more second, you'll see.

The only card I've found like Stain Storm is Exile of the Wicked. You can use the same basic strategy, but you just have to put a few more anti-Jinzo cards in your deck. Surprisingly, I've found the Exile of the Wicked Deck to be a bit more useful. Just to give you a few points on why I think it may run better.
-Fiends have Twin-Headed Wolf and Dark Ruler Ha Des, removing the threat of facedown monsters.
-Lava Golem is a Fiend.
-Eliminating Fiend is easier with Getsu Fuhma.
-Fiend-based cards are easier to come by.
-Dark Necrofear is strong enough to hold off Jinzo.

So, that's another messed up tip by myself.
