originaltyand signatures in the game of yugioh

As you well know the game has cards that are the bases all tournament decks.
An example of this is monster reborn, it's a standard card if want to revive your fallen monsters. A card this good means that everyone has one in their decks. Im not trying point out the staple cards. im trying point out is predictability of most duelist decks. If the card has hype people would use it. If it is a powerful monster people would have it in their decks a mile away. you would expected in their decks because everyone is using it. Now for me I strongly favor more originality than predictabilty, because im a big fan of the anime this inspires me to be my own character duelist and stick out from everyone else. Now we all know that's quite difficult have your'e own signature card or cards in your'e deck. example is dark magician its yugi's signature card.
He's well known for using it most of the time. Im not say don't use the popular cards in your'e decks. Just don't over look the underated cards that only few use. it's amusing to see you're opponent's when you play a cards he would never expect. If comments about this tip feel free but I don't want to hear about the cheesy issues about cookie cutters, because my utlimate goal in future tournments is to survive and counter the highly used themed decks, mainly choas.
