How to learn the rules, for beginners - CNash

If you're just starting out playing Yugioh TCG, and need to quickly pick up the basic rules of the game (and some of the more advanced ones too!), might I suggest that you pick up a copy of the PC game "Power of Chaos - Yugi the Destiny"? Please note - this isn't an ad for Konami!

The PC game knows all the rules - every basic point, every card effect - and by playing against it over and over, you'll quickly learn the specifics of how the game is played. The game simply won't let you break or bend any of the game's rules, so by learning what you can't do, you figure out what's possible and what's not. It'll even give you a crash course in elementary deck construction. And as a bonus, it can be bought for very little cash nowadays.

[Tranorix note: It is generally accepted that the video games and the actual card game have several ruling incongruities; nevertheless, the video games' value as learning tools shouldn't be understated]
