Harpie Lady Decks can be just as strong as any deck - Harpy_Hunter

A lot of tips have been posted here in the CCG Tips, and I've recently noticed that Harpie Lady decks have become a subject of target. Most people don't know how good Harpie Lady decks can be. I for one happen to run one and know of PLENTY good combos you can use to annoy and win a duel. As well as cards that work well in these decks.

One good combo is the Elegant Egotist and Serial Spell Combo. Sure you maybe losing cards in your hand, but if you set the important cards and need certain cards to be in the GY then this combo works wonders. It frees up your deck of the Harpie Lady Sisters clogging your deck and hindering your drawing, plus it allows you to control the field temporarily. Just make sure when attempting this combo, you ARE prepared to defend yourself. Your hand is empty, but like I said, if you discarded the right cards and set the right cards, you'll get along just fine.. :-)

There are a number of Harpie Lady cards to choose from. You have the 1800 Beatstick: Cyber Harpie Lady (a personal favorite). Harpie Lady 1, self booster. Harpie Lady 2, negate flip-effects. Harpie Lady 3, IMO: DON'T RUN THIS. And the ever-so memorable HARPIE LADY (Normal version). Whether you choose to combo Beatstick + Booster, or go all boosters, Harpie's are strong and they get stronger.

Harpie's Pet Dragon works well with Stray Lambs. Activate Stray Lambs, sacrifice both for a SET HPD ((nothing says on the card that you can't sacrifice them or SET a monster that turn)). Or you can always discard it with Serial Spell and Call of the Haunted it or Premature Burial it. Sure it has a sorry attack, but it can work out in a DEDICATED Harpie Lady deck. Another route, is RFG and Dimension Fusion or Return from a Different Dimension it as well as Harpie Lady cards. That will be a shocker to find that happening in a duel.

Also you can combo Harpie's with WIND/Dragons and form a powerful deck. Here's a wonderful combo that can be pulled off:

PLAY: Elegant Egotist + Serial Spell(SET) + Super Rejuvenation(SET)
Hand: Dragons. ((i.e.: HPD, Luster Dragon ((1900)), Spear Dragon, Armed Dragon))

Then there is the RFaDD combo:
3x Silpheed or 3x Garuda + 3x Harpie Cards (Sisters, Cyber, 1, 2, 3, NORM) + Harpie's Hunting Ground
Remove the Harpie's from play, RFaDD. Destroy the S/T's and get in your final hits. Plus Silpheed allows Hand Removal. Garuda switches positions.

So that way, even though you just dumped your hand, you still have cards at the end of the turn thanks to Super Rejuvenation.

Harpie Lady Decks don't always have to have JUST HARPIE LADY cards. Harpie's can combo with WIND/DRAGONS as well. Harpie's Hunting Ground ((IMO)) is better than Rising Air Current, because it provides the player with EXTRA S/T destruction. Especially when combo'ed with IMT/CED/Dimension Fusion/RFaDD.

I have found in all my dueling with Harpie's is that, while they lack in "HARPIE LADY SUPPORT", they work well when combo'ed with other WIND cards. There are a number of cards you can use to defeat your opponent with Harpie's. Just learn to look at all your cards.

If Earo Nail, or Harpie's Phoenix/Sparrow Formation or Haprie's Feather Storm are made into actual cards, they decks would become a lot stronger. Sure the effects would be changed a bit probably. I am not going to try to guess and type out here what they could be, so the cards wouldn't be broken..

But Harpie Lady decks are strong! And when you lose to one, because you were too stereotypical that Harpie Lady decks aren't meant or competitive play, I'll be the one laughing.
