Sean’s back. To clarify a bit, in the batch of tips on April
18, the articles "Chaos: the counter Counter-Revolution" and
"fun little burn combo" are mine I just forgot to put "by
Sean" in the title. Sorry for the oversight. Anyway, here’s
a new batch of articles. Enjoy!
I am proud to announce that I’m starting my own unofficial
deck garage. I’m not cool enough to have an official one.
However, each week I get at least a half-dozen requests for
deck designs and/or fixes. So I’ll be submitting a response
to one of these emails to pojo tips once a week. Hope you
enjoy them. Feel free to send in requests.
I actually received multiple requests for this deck design.
Spiral Spear Strike has provided the Gaia family with a new
avenue of attack. However, they still are NOT a
tournament-worthy deck type. They can be used for a casual
design. Here you go.
Strengths: The ultimate goal of this deck is to have Gaia
the Dragon Champion out with Spiral Spear Strike attached. A
2600 ATK monster that inflicts trample damage and gives you
a miniature graceful charity every time is something to be
reckoned with. Everything in this deck is designed to get
the Dragon Champion out and support it.
Weaknesses: While Gaia w/Spiral is extremely powerful,
getting there is difficult. This deck is extremely
situational. An alert opponent will shut it down pretty
quick as soon as they see what you’re doing.
