What is the point of banned cards?/My look at originality ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: JoeTrex3000@aol.com Date: Sat, 26 Mar 2005 00:21:27 EST By JoeTrex3000@aol.com There has been some big ordeals on the subject of the banned list and I would like to tell you my point of view on it. It angers me that upper deck has made the ban list , there are people who spent tons of money on trying to get these cards that a year later end up getting banned. I am getting the feeling that they got complaints of people being scared of all the great cards. The point of the game is to be able to win a duel no matter what card your opponent throws at you. There is no point on making a card that isn't usable in a tournament. People, if you dont have the ability to stop CED or Yata then you should just accept that you arent capable of winning. I know it stinks when you get locked or take a chunk of life points but you have to make a deck that can help you in a situation like that. I'm sorry to all of the "Advanced" people that you cant seem to come up with an idea to beat a strong card. In a year upper deck is going to ban all monsters that have an effect or an attack of 1500 or more. We cant let this happen to the game. One other thing I would like to talk about is the business of so called "cookie cutters" at the tournament that I go to we dont call people cookie cutters. I realize that it is cheap to copy someone's complete deck but just because you use a deck similar doesn't make you a bad duelist. I have a chaos deck and a lot of people at the tournament that I go to do but none of us have the same deck. I have a feeling that some people just have to come up with excuses because they are losing. I've lost plenty of times and I dont make up excuses. People even though Yugioh is fun and challenging still it is just a game. If you lose it doesn't always mean that they cheated or get all the cards they want. Also even if you dont agree with me keep duelin people. Thanks for reading Any comments just e-mail me at _JoeTrex3000@aol.com_ (mailto:JoeTrex3000@aol.com)
