The Metagame-Anteaus ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Anteaus44@aol.com Date: Sat, 26 Mar 2005 03:20:49 EST Hey all, it's me again, Anteaus. I wanted to thank all of you for the massive amounts of mail that I have recieved over the issues that I am debating (by myself (hint hint)) on Pojo.com. And here is yet another: I know that this article's title is a little on the bland side, but just bear with me. The Metagame is so intertwined now with cards from the old sets, cards from the new sets, the banlist, Advanced, Traditional, and so on and so forth. It is too easy to get lost in the speed of the changing meta, to lost yourself in the constant motion that is Tier 1. I read on Pojo.com and I see what the people post: combo after combo after combo. But do you ever see these combos in action? Now, I'm not complaining; rather, I am merely stating an opinion. Ever since my deck was stolen, I've found it very hard to re-enter the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! and it's metagame. My Zombie deck is crappy at the moment, but it will get better. However, what should I do to make it better? I see so many different opinions, yet none ever help me. With the game changing so fast and new cards being introduced virtually every day, it's no wonder that I'm having trouble. I need some help. That is all I'm writing about the metagame. Most of you now (the dedicated followers of Pojo.com and it's (not so featured) featured writers know what the metagame is, so I'm not going to go into too much about it. This post is a request for help, not only for my deck but also for some inspiration. Help me by posting your own opinions. Come out from under the bed, the table, the kitchen sin...come out from the proverbial closet and tell the world what you think. What do you want to post, let people read, then respond to? That is what I am asking. It is small. You do not need to signup for this, you do not need to tell me who you are; just post at Pojo.com, then let me respond. That is all I ask of you, beloved readers, because I have faith yet that we will emerge from this black hole of apathy and once more return to the glory that was the CCG Section. Help me, please. Cheers, Anteaus P.S. If you want to e-mail me, send it to Anteaus44@aol.com. Thank you very much
