hey !!! just to let you people out there know that Freed is a underestimated card . take a quick look:


Freed the matchless general
earth/type 5 stars
warrior
effect___--- negate the effect of a spell card that specifically designates 
this card as a target and destroy it. As long as this card remains faceup on 
the feild, you can add 1 level 4 or lower warrior type monster from your deck to 
your hand per turn instead of drawing 1 card during your draw phase. your 
deck is then shuffled .

2300 atk def 1700

pros:
not affected by change of heart, snatch steal, book of moon <fissure smashing 
ground or hammer shot if only monster on your feild> 

good stats for a 5 star monster <the atk is past the 2000 break point , only 
a rare metal dragon or goblin attack force are standing up to freed without a 
tribute >

if  you premature freed you get him and then because of his effect premature 
gets destroyed and since the effect of it is negated by freed  he stays on the 
feild! so you dont have to worry about any mangey dust tornadoes or typhoons 
messing up your plans!

if protected properly Freed alllows you to search your deck for the warrior 
you might need for the turn. example ...
i tributed for freed last turn and i kno my oppent has a spirt reaper or 
pyramid turtle  face down.rather than rely on  the luck of the draw for your 
mystic swordsman or exlied force why not just search your deck for the card you 
want and go to work? lol

Freed is also a warrior so the support is there and he is of the earth type 
so for those earth / warrior / swarm decks out there get those gia powers< 
field spell that gives an xtra 500 to earth types !!!> making him a 2800 atk !! 
have him and 2 maraudings and your in the drivers seat . jinzo or a mobius and 
your good to go .


cons...
 he cant be powered up by equips .

kinda hard to keep him out against more high atk based decks.
