Let's talk about a new knid of advantage--Hiroshi Masaki

For all you that follow Yu-Gi-Oh! very closely on a professional level all of these terms should be second nature to you. For the new player I have to explain some things, if you want to skip it scroll down until you see alot of minus sings.

Alright, for the new players. One of the things that makes the good players good is that they see all of the advatages of all of the cards in there deck. I'm not talking about how powerful it is, but how many cards it gives them when compared to what they/their opponent lost. There is hand advantage(number of cards in both players hands), field advantage(number of cards on the field), and card advantage(number of cards overall). The best cards take advantage of all of these. Like Pot of Greed. This card gives your hand +1, your field 0, and your overall card advantage just increased.
This is an example of a good card. Now an example of a bad card. Spell Vanishing--Hand:-2--field:0(you lose one,Spell Vaninshing, and they lose one, the card you negate). So your overall Card Advantage for this card is -2, not good. Well here we go with my thoughts

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that we are all on the same page let's talk about a new advantage. LP Advantage. Somewhere along the line, somebody forgot what this card was about. Except for Ring of Destruction and the Monsters in a deck, most competitive decks have no other ways to influence live points. I'm not saying that every deck should run more burn but stronger monsters should be used at times, even if they have no effects. It doesn't matter how many cards they have in their hand when you draw your Duo if you only have 900 LP. I just think that players shouldn't put down cards that lose you advatage if they can help you clear the field to get a LP Advantage.

Love it, Hate it, Constructive Criticism. Send it all to fusilierdragon@homtail.com

Also, if you want I give give a small town opinion review of cards. Send me cards to review decks, ideas, or any thing else.

Expect to see my new Team at the Tennessee Reginionals when they come around. Team Tower
